1.Location : Use to connect Bluetooth to Watch.
2.Storage : It is used to download and transmit map data and synchronize with the watch.
Our apps are not used for any unneeded use and do not cause any harm to you.
■ DESCRIPTION
The GOLFBUDDY Smart App allows you to connect your smartphone with any GOLFBUDDY Bluetooth enabled device.
You can update single individual courses on-the-go (internet and GPS satellite connection required) via Bluetooth and also search nearby golf courses.
Course Updates:
With this app, you will always play with the latest course data on your GOLFBUDDY Bluetooth enabled device.
Find GOLFBUDDY unit:
Use your GOLFBUDDY App to find your GOLFBUDDY unit within a close range by making the screen light up and the unit vibrate.
This feature is limited to Bluetooth range and the device needs to be connected via Bluetooth.
App currently supports:

· VOICEX
· VTX
· aim W10
· aim W11
· aim V10
Using the app will require you to register your unit to access our golf course database and additional features. All free!
(This app is compatible with Android 6.0 or higher, and Android version 7.0 and below may not be notified properly.)

GOLFBUDDY Smart 2.1.14 APK requires following permissions:

2 ★ I used my Golfbuddy Aim W10 for the first time yesterday. I love the gps and it worked flawlessly. The app however lost its bluetooth connection and casting froze on the 2nd hole. Fortunately I didn't need to cast to my phone as I was able to easily read the screen on the watch. I was trying the cast option just to see how well it worked. This app is useful for updating a course if you only need to update one at a time. For mass updates it's better to connect the watch to my laptop.
1 ★ I received one of your golf buddy watches as a Christmas present so I went to add the app on my Samsung Galaxy A6 and it just would not work I tried resetting my phone multiple times and it still would not work I would go to the sign Up tab in the app and it would fail the app would stop working. Great idea and I needed one of these for my golf game except that it's kind of impossible to get anywhere when your app doesn't work if you could please figure out what is wrong with it I would like it
1 ★ I just installed the new Golfbuddy app update. I can connect to the watch but I cannot get the notifications to my watch from my phone. There is not a place in the app to activate or chose which notifications to send to the watch and the pedometer tracker is now gone. I have the WTX and a Samsung note 20 phone. Will this be fixed so it is more than a watch for golf?
4 ★ I was very frustrated by this programme originally. Having spent a large sum of money on my GB device it seemed ridiculous that this supporting package was so bad. Since the recent update, all now seems fine. We'll done and big sigh of relief Oh dear! I spoke too soon. Am now totally unable to talk with my Golf Buddy device. I am at a loss to understand why this company is still allowed to get away with such a disgraceful performance

1 ★ Not getting a lot of use out of this app. Firstly took a few attempts to open. Then eventually looks for my watch, says its found, then freezes. Doesn't appear to be any use for this app, because it gives no info. Now, as its the only app I've installed for a while, the phone keeps freezing. Reinstalled it, now i have loads of icons on my home screen that cannot be removed, like 6 alarm clocks, 5 ask Alexas, 2 adds on app. Poor software
1 ★ Downloaded this and immediately was required to give permission to access just about everything on my phone, including contacts and messages and other files and apps. I have uninstalled it out of concern for security. I don't know of any reason to make all of my personal data available to some overseas ( or any onshore, for that matter) companies . especially for just a poorly reviewed Golf App
3 ★ Why does this app need access to my media and pictures? And location isn't that taken care of by the the GPS in the watch.
1 ★ Will not work unless you surrender your phone, contact, pics and calendar. Why would any GPS app need access to any of this. In addition, the system would not allow me to create a login ID. Needless to say, removed app.
5 ★ So far so good, connected the app to the watch GPS, just need to be able to play golf in Hawaii (courses closed). I didn't have any trouble connecting via Samsung S10e. Just one advice if you are having trouble. Turn On GPS after clicking "Find My GolfBuddy" hope some of you find this helpful.
1 ★ Still have not been able to connect to my Samsung A9, it even took 4 times to get my computer to see it. Big updates required so far it's a watch only...far to expensive to have these kinds of issues... definitely not user friendly....not happy thinking of returning it ...☹️☹️☹️
1 ★ Just bought the W10 and the instructions say to download the app. Did that. When setting up i denied the app access to all settings besides location. Your app said i couldnt download it if i denied any settings. Whats up with that? Why do you need access to my photos, contacts, etc. just so i can use the app? I uninstalled- hope the gps watch works or its going back to PGA superstore.
1 ★ Downloaded the app several times and tried to upload updates for a couple of courses - hasn't worked once failed /stalled multiple times names of courses are wrong nothing good about the experience so far device dusted were at least 10 yards out yesterday as well. If no improvements soon I will buy another device very disappointing
1 ★ My opinion is the same as everyone else's. Just why the hardware manufacturer chose these people to write the app is beyond me. Had I read the reviews here first I would never have bought the watch. Too late to send back and without the app it's just a watch. A £200 cheap plastic watch.
1 ★ Unable to connect phone to device. I have a GolfBuddy Voice2 and my phone can't find the device when scanning for it. Uninstalling app on phone. Not only does the app request access to entire phone, it doesn't work!
