5 ★ I enjoy that I can easily find and complete scholarships at anytime! It's a breath of fresh air that I can match with many scholarships, along with fun, simple short essays too! I know most people don't like to do essays, but on Going Merry it's worth it!
1 ★ does not function properly.. infinite loading screens and buggy text :(
5 ★ This app is the best scholarship search engine I have come across. It has several features that set it apart like the ability to autofill applications without leaving the app. It also searches for bundles of applications that could be applied to with only one essay. This app is unrivaled. Every student should download it.
3 ★ I've used the website and I think it's great. However, I can't even get logged into the app. It says I have to sign in using Google (cause that's how I created the account on the website), but when I try to sign in through Google, it just glitches out. I've uninstalled/reinstalled and nothing changed. When I try to just put my email/password, it tells me to sign in through Google. Not deleting the app, I still want to use it.....I'm hoping this can be fixed very soon.
1 ★ It has a bug that wont allow me to apply for scholarships and wont let me finish drafts that I did not submit. It always says that an error occured. I closed the app, and opened it again, and it still has the same "error". So I have to delete the app and download it for it to work, and even then it doesn't work for long.
5 ★ Amazing! Love this app it's user friendly also a fun & exciting way to apply for scholarships! Skip all the hasle in googling or searching for scholarships which can be time consuming, the app chooses which ones fit you best or let's you chose from a variety of diff scholarships. And the best part of the app is that it makes it very easy for the person to apply for the scholarships..! Completely love it thank you Going Merry Scholarships! I am truly blessed with having this app in my life!
4 ★ There are a lot of scholarships available on this app. Be sure to check the due dates. Some of these scholarships have inaccurate dates, saying it's due in a few days, when in reality, it's due later, sometimes months later. One improvement would be to allow users to check off external applications they've applied to rather than having to hit the ignore button. Ignored scholarships don't go where completed applications go.
4 ★ I love the ability to view and heart scholarships through this app. However, I need the option of checking scholarships that I have already applied for. I don't want to ignore or hide the scholarship; it makes it easier to have a category of applied scholarships so I'm not scrolling through my favorites and wondering if I applied to a scholarship or not. Otherwise, it's a great app!
5 ★ This site is organized wonderfully and I can check on my applications, look at the ones I've favorited (you can favorite some so you don't lose them!!), and search for specific scholarships with filters. I have yet to get a scholarship, but I've only just started and can't wait to go further.
2 ★ Terrible signup process. Entering the date of birth section is awful. It wouldn't even recognize my city and state. I even tried entering Chicago, Illinois and it wasn't recognized so I just uninstalled the app since I wasn't able to progress through the registration process.
4 ★ It gives you many choices but doesn't show changes when you apply to something. Consistently shos missing items though trying to add over and over again. Errors in system that doesn't show changes
5 ★ It's very straight forward and easy to use. Also it's an easy way to look up scholarships in your free time. As a homeschooler though, it was a little hard to find a school while setting up my profile.
5 ★ There are no ads! This app has made applying for scholarships and remembering deadlines so easy, especially as someone with adhd and bad memory. AND ITS FREE!!! Would definelty recommend this to all highschoolers!
1 ★ I tried several times to enter my city and state. No sure why your program cannot find Baltimore, MD / Md (either way) in your list. My actual city is Columbia, MD so I tried the main city of the state. Your database shouldbe able to find main cities. I've uninstalled the app. Thanks but no thanks. I test software applications for a living. You guys could not have possibly tested your app.
5 ★ It makes it easy to apply to scholarships, its a little buggy here and there and needs some updates on more schools but for the most part if the team keeps up with it its got amazing potential and i would recommend to anyone having a hard time finding scholarships
