Download the latest File Monitor application, version 1.0.2, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Tools app is developed by SteelWorks and is easy to download and install.
Previous versions, including 1.0.2, are also available. If you need help or have any problems, please let us know.
Description
(1) Finding out where the file is downloaded/saved. Some apps may save files on SD card, without telling you where it is. In such case, this tool helps.
(2) Helping us to figure out if there is some suspicious file accesses.
(3) For developers, it could also help to optimize file access pattern, make sure file is closed, etc.

2 ★ File open....close...dir... well, which are really useful info? Not really speaking! If there is info such as which filename/foldername is created, opened, deleted, modified... then it will be very useful! GUI is also badly organized! Why consuming all display area fir such useless and repetitive info? A whole screen displayed but info is maybe less than 10%! 3rd column for instance can be written with abbreviation of 2 characters, 4th column no need of repeating /storage/emulated/0... those displays are almost useless.
4 ★ My special use scenario involves external sd card so could you please hurry up and implement Ext SD monitoring? Nothing else to complain about.

5 ★ Nice little app. Unfortunately, it seems to be abandonware now. A floating widget would be a great addition, as well as log recording ability.
