Description
Start by logging in with your GMC Account or OnStar username and password. Services are not available everywhere, and feature availability and functionality may vary by country. The myGMC mobile app* is supported on Android 9 and above and is only available in North America, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Bahrain.

Remote Commands**
Your key fob is conveniently located on your home screen. You can lock and unlock your doors or warm up your car on a cold morning.
Vehicle Status*** / Schedule Service
Check your vehicle’s status to monitor fuel level, oil life, tire pressure and more, making it easy for you to stay on top of your vehicle’s health and schedule service with your participating Dealer without leaving the app.

1 ★ The new app looks pretty but lacks the easy reliability and functionality of the old app. First why do I need to Uninstall and reinstall the app about every time for it to work The old app downloaded once and worked for years. Second why go to press and hold and how long to hold? It is inconsistent sometimes have to hold for a minute otherwise few seconds. I remember recently trying to lock and unlock the car with the app took five to six times for to work. It is faster now to skip the app.
1 ★ Absolutely useless app. Recieved invite to join Family, but after creating an account and putting vehicle info in, it says limited access, and by that it means I can schedule maintenance. An entire app for that? What a waste of time. Tried accepting invite again, once profile was created, but goes back to limited profile that can only schedule maintenance. Can't even delete the profile/account I created to try again. Worthless. Save yourself the aggravation.
1 ★ This is a terrible app! This Sat 7/3/21 I purchased a 2018 GMC Terrain SLE. The dealership helped me setup OnStar, SXM and myGMC. On the drive home and all day, and on Sun 7/4 everything worked. Then this morning 7/5 myGMC does not work. When I opened it says "In Progress" and its been "In Progress" all day. As I write this review it's "In Progress". What a joke🤬! Called OnStar for help and they were useless. I was excited as the dealership explained myGMC and it's features... but I'm not now!
1 ★ I absolutely HATE this updated app. Now I can't see my vehicle status items, if this app isn't changed SOON onstar isn't worth the subscription. Did I mention this updated app sucks! And NOW I have to have a passcode on my damn phone to use this app! Its MY PHONE, whether or not I choose to use a passcode on it isn't up to you. You people are making me sorry I bought a GMC.
2 ★ App no longer shows the charge available for my spark ev,. Update , this version of the app is slow cluncky , up until recently the app was functioning just fine navigation was very simple everything was all on the same page without needing to load anything else up now you have to wait for the other page to load up and then click on something else and then click on something else again. By the way you still haven't fixed the available charge on my Chevy spark EV. I need to see how much battery
1 ★ Won't connect.. I've had this app forever and never had a problem.. All of a sudden it's disconnected and I've uninstalled it, installed it again, I've called and talked to multiple people and have gotten ticket numbers for them to call me back but they NEVER do.. Every time I call they try really hard to figure out why it's not connected and send signals to my vehicle but nothing ever works.. So fed up.
1 ★ I see from the other reviews this app is making happy, NOT! I agree, useless, they've changed it again, can no longer use my remote controls. GMC, my vehicle does and has always had the hardware. I've used the app with several vehicles, the latest update BROKE it...just peachy. GMC support couldn't get it working neither.
3 ★ OnePlus 6t, Android 10. Brilliant idea, poorly executed. Sometimes I have to re-login with password, despite having pin AND fingerprint, it's hit or miss. A huge improvement (and I would be convinced to pay monthly for this!) would be a button that closes all windows/sunroof.
1 ★ Just installed and already not working. Keeps telling me to push the onstar button to get started after I already set everything up. Onstar was set up at the dealership before we drove out. I no longer have the screen to lock, unlock, sound horn, start, etc. Uninstalled app & reinstalled. Same thing. About to uninstall again...for good
1 ★ This review is for the new app. It sucks!!! The old app was much better. I recently purchased a new vehicle, thi new app "worked" with my old vehicle. With my new one all I get is "updae failed" and "unable to connect" the app is worthless to me. Never had this problem when I traded before. It will not let me do anything no matter what I try.
1 ★ Very slow to start up, seems laggy, just when you want to unlock your car in a hurry. The old version made it where you did not need the password to lock your car so you could do that quickly in a pinch, and they have undid that. Also, seems ridiculously long hold down time for unlock and start.
1 ★ Latest version of this app is terrible. Takes forever to log in and authenticate me. It's an app on my phone, so please remember the credentials so it reacts quicker. By the time I'm into the app and held the remote start button for at least 10 seconds (and it actually worked this time) I've already walked close enough just to use the regular remote. Pointless!
1 ★ New redesign makes this app much worse. I spend at least 3 times every time I try to unlock my door. Keep holding.... Ok I am, it's been 10 seconds, guess I'll let go, oh it didn't work, let's try again. Response to the copy/paste response they keep giving. I get why you did it, but implement it in a way that actually works then. Look at the feedback you're getting, no one likes this. Second response: I have uninstalled/reinstalled. The I can hold it for 2 seconds or 30 seconds. It never works the first time, I have to do it AT LEAST 3 times for it to work.
2 ★ This app has become worthless. Having to sign in every time and still use the pass code is nuts. Takes to long and totally removes the advantage of using the app. I shouldn't have to add a more security to my phone to stay signed in. The other app worked fine for 10 years.
2 ★ So far i have uninstalled it and re installed it to make sure it was downloaded right ... the remote lock/unlock or alarm features shown on the add do not appear? I do have onstar on my car the premium package if i recall correctly.. but was hoping this would allow me to use my phone like the keyfob that came with my yukon. If all it does is give the same info as the owners manual then i will be deleting it permanently soon.
