Description
Once the app is launched, all you need to do is touch the screen. It has a very simple design so it can be enjoyed even by very small children. As they touch, watch, listen, and play, children unconsciously start to learn to recognize the basic letters of the Japanese Hiragana and Katakana.
■■■Watch, Touch, and Listen■■■
The background of the wooden frame shows an illustration of an object beginning with the letter of the Hiragana and Katakana being displayed, so that children can think about the object straight away. As they touch and insert pieces in the frame, they will hear a native speaker say the words out loud. This allows them to listen to Japanese words with the correct pronunciation. By repeatedly touching the screen, they can play and learn spontaneously about the shapes of the letters and their pronunciation.
■■■Just Like a Real Wooden Puzzle■■■
A colorful wooden puzzle that develops their imagination!
In order to look realistic, the pieces of Hiragana and Katakana Puzzle were made by cutting out actual pieces of wood. This gives the game a realistic feel as if it were a real wooden puzzle.
Have great fun with this puzzle and learn Japanese at the same time!

2 ★ Seems underdeveloped. Are the pieces supposed to lock in? I haven't been able to it. It's also kind of hard to describe some characters.
3 ★ I won't give my kid an ad supported game to play with. Not sure why that is hard to grasp for developers. I will happily pay $10, $15 for a valuable, well developed, educational game for my kids. Also this game has not much replay value and the letters turn too much and cover up the lower spaces.
1 ★ Fun puzzle, however, I have a notification icon that won't clear!! It advertises another of their apps. Most annoying.
