App permissions

MyGreen-SolarMonitor 1.05 APK requires following permissions:

Allows an application to read or write the system settings.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

Allows applications to change network connectivity state.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows mounting and unmounting file systems for removable storage.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows access to the vibrator.

This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.

1 ★ Why does this app need permission to make phone calls ? To access all data ? Lazy and intrusive.

1 ★ Wrong voltage. Battery under charges. unable to change voltage settings with computer.

4 ★ This app works 100% with my Gionee M6 phone. It has really help me monitor my daily and monthly solar energy production. However, I'm only having one issue and that is I cannot use this app to view the energy statistics from two different cloud boxes connected via AP mode. Both cloud boxes have been connected to 2 separate solar charge controllers and my Gionee M6 phone but when I open the app I can only see one cloud box since the wifi can only have one active cloud box. How do I add 2 devices

1 ★ This is a data mining app. Asks extremely ridiculous permissions and is a huge security risk. I wish I never bought the products related to this and am not happy with Google for even giving this 'verified' status. I will recommend no one buys this charge controller, the wifi module nor anything made buy the company Shenzhen I-Panda New Energy Technology & Science Co., Ltd.... I'll change my tune if the required permisions are reduce to none needed..

5 ★ I am 60 years old and worried a bit about the connection via Wi-Fi. I checked out the YouTube video and completed in minutes. No idea what the problems other people have? I understand the worry about too much invasion of privacy but nothing to hide - nothing to worry about.

3 ★ Works in AP mode. You have to connect to the M1-Cloud WiFi device's hotspot first. The problem I'm having is not being able to set the Over Voltage protection at anything over 17v. I'm trying to run a 24 Volt system......

1 ★ Permission to access my phone calls, camera and mic?? Security breaches, this is nothing more than skyware, uninstall it instantly!

1 ★ Will not run unless it is granted access to most of my personal information and phone functions. I do not want to use apps that request such intrusive security access without actual need.

1 ★ Not working on galaxy s8 when I connect to the charger controller wifi the app didn't connect to the charger controller m1 box

1 ★ I connect to the AP for the charge controller, phone says Connected. I hit AP mode and it keeps telling me to connect to an AP. Useless, worthless app. Charge controller sucks!

4 ★ often need to start and shutdown twice but overall it is great. Would love to see progressive graph of day input and output to track high gen and useage time periods.

1 ★ able to commect to Wifi. but app keeps telling me i need to connect to hotspot when i try and enter AP mode.

1 ★ They have access to your phone screen. They even told me they have a video of me using my phone trying to access my app. Which I never gave permission for! Beware of this scam. They have access to your phone and permission that they don't need but won't let you use the app without letting them.

2 ★ Had trouble connecting until I turned on my location services and connected to the my green solar wifi then it works fine
