Download the latest Music VU Visualizer Widgets application, version 3.2.1, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Music & Audio app is developed by GeorgieLabs and is easy to download and install.
Previous versions, including 3.2.1, are also available. If you need help or have any problems, please let us know.
Description
All segmented meters feature classic digital styling and a high-resolution first meter segment. In addition, specialty spectrum analyzer and waveform displays give you unique ways to visualize your music. Premium spectrum and waveform displays are free for a 7 day trial period (level meters are always free).
To find the visualizer widgets long-press an empty part of your home screen, choose Widgets and look for “Music VU”. On some devices open your apps list “Widgets” section to find widgets. To make widgets big: long-press, release, then resize in both directions.
Note: This is an advanced widget app which uses special techniques to update quickly. Due to limitations in the way Android widgets work you should have a fairly fast phone or tablet for good performance. You may still notice irregular or slow updates. Avoid using more than 5 visualizer widgets at the same time unless your device can handle it. To minimize CPU and battery usage Music VU is not active unless your screen is on and music is playing or microphone is enabled and picking up sounds.
Note: There are problems with some newer phones which break visualizers, including Music VU. A different music player may work, try Phonograph or YouTube Music, or connect a Bluetooth speaker/headset. If needed you can enable the microphone in settings. If you have any problems, for example your combination of Android device and music player doesn't work, please email support at musicvu@georgielabs.net. We'll try to help resolve your problem.
Microphone Permission: All Android visualizers need microphone permission to work (see https://developer.android.com/reference/android/media/audiofx/Visualizer). Our app does not store or transmit any audio.

Music VU shows accurate stereo levels when used with supported music players like the SoundWire audio streaming app. If you’re an Android music app developer and would like to have your app send stereo meter data to Music VU please email musicvu@georgielabs.net for implementation details and example code.

5 ★ Lovely! It works beautifully on my Leagoo T5. (4 Gb & 64 Gb, 8-core CPU). Thank you, developers! I am using the vertical, 10 segment led, stereo meter and I have given it a page all to itself. Download music volume levels all differ, so now it is easy to set to optimum on the media player and on the phone itself. I use VLC and play through a Logitech computer amplifier/speakers unit with a sub. That it operates as a wiget rather than within an app makes it excellent. I can find no faults.
5 ★ I loved it. Music volume scaling at bottom should be turned off anyone is having trouble with scaling going down. If you get annoying app permission warning for mic then go to setting/Security/biometrics and/or security, find permission usage monitor. Don't tick off, just go in to it and allow music Vu from the list.
2 ★ "My trial ended " This was working just fine but suddenly it didn't one day and it said my trial ended even though nothing told me anything before about a trial, free or paid version. So it linked me to an app called Sound Wire which is supposedly the free version but when I downloaded it , it said it was supposed to turn my phone into a speaker or something, I don't really care the point is it isn't a music visualizer widget. It didn't even work, said it couldn't connect to any servers. Bogus.
5 ★ It works perfectly on my s9+ sometimes crashes not very often but there is a huge problem I'm having Can you guys please add a setting for account switchimg my side is set with the wrong account and I can't figure out how to fix that
4 ★ Works fine, except the bars drop all the way to zero for a split second at regular rates, even when playing solid tones, before quickly returning to normal, but only while using bluetooth...for whatever reason. Kinda annoying, but otherwise, great.
5 ★ This app delivers more then what they offer but if ya want a wicked visual experience you'll want a more updated phone and on the mid to top end of android I'm using note 9 got my home page dect out 29 visualization running at same time no loss to fps a bit of studded when either updating from any store or when calls come in I'm also using nova prime for their animations speed there out of this world fast and you can use basic nova for that speed up dont need prime this app deserves more then 5*
5 ★ Very nice app, absolutely love it. What I would like to see is a customisable-coloured tape deck classic meter. Mine used to have cyan colour all the way so I'd like to set that up. :)
2 ★ I love the app but it just doesn't work on my s10 most of the time. When it does work it only lasts maybe 10 minutes before freezing. Please fix this as I want to use it more often but its just unreliable.
2 ★ I love the app but it crashes a lot on my android stereo. Actually it's hit and miss if it works on my s10. (Edit) doesn't work more times than dose. Real shame. Definitely needs fixing. Please update

1 ★ Worst app here, it's just a wave it in your face then take it all away, you pay for it all, or just keep one very stupid simple widget, although they said you got to keep All the widgets the app came with wether you subscribe or not. A good TRIAL is to NOT WASTE YOUR TIME on these lies!

5 ★ Using my old Android as a music dedicated device and this vu widget adds a great affect that just kinda fun. It works really well and pretty customizable.
2 ★ App does not work sometimes when I play music they aren't moving or just frozen please fix these bugs and update app as soon as possible
3 ★ Great idea, love the free old school level meters. Stops working a lot though. Fix bugs and make full app free and I'll give 5 stars.
