Record a trail on your Wear OS watch
You can record a trail on your Wear OS watch in standalone mode (not connected to an Android smartphone) or in paired mode (connected to an Android smartphone).
The application also allows logging in to your existing SityTrail account (from the screen which is the most on the left) when the watch is used in standalone mode.
Important Information
• Some features need an internet connection.
• The prolonged use of GPS can reduce battery levels.

1 ★ It insisted on recording when not requested. After starting out more or less indicating where I was it stopped showing any location anywhere near where I was. Useless :(
1 ★ This app seems to collect too much personal data. Why does a hicking gps needs access to my files and camera to work?

5 ★ I have been using this for some years. You can use it in combination with your laptop or stand alone on your smartphone. You download the IGN hiking maps you need for the region you are hiking, cycling etc. Then you can use them off line. Choose your region then select the hike you want from the many uploaded. Start your hike and your progress is tracked. Go off course and you are warned. Tech support is prompt and helpful in French and English.
3 ★ Works ok, but the user interface is confusing. I'm never sure when it's downloading something, or opening it for navigation, or recording my route, or whatever. It could be tremendously improved with a very small amount of logical thinking. For 25 € per year, absolutely not. Uninstalled.
