5 ★ After complications with failed updates at 60% the app could connect to my new phone too and finish the installation. Now everything works as it should. Also, be aware you need to choose one of local languages, irregardless which. The English-other option doesn't provide full service. Regarding your response about the languages: having to use the local language of the country the toilet is installed is a problem for an expat that just happens to live in a country where he does not understand the locals. This is a MAJOR FLAW. you might not have realized Back to 3 STARS.
5 ★ Edit: updated the app and installed the new firmware too, now everything works as expected. I love that it works with the Tuma toilets. Extra functionality which let you control water temperature and seat temperature. During the firmware update my connection broke however. Resetted everything, update was not fully completed, but I can use the app. It now asks me to register the toilet again, even after we did it on the website before I had the app installed. Now I can't access the care&maintance panel because I don't have the password.
2 ★ It works, but is super slow to connect, and I find I have to get up and sit back down a lot before it detects me sitting down. Adjusting setting sliders is finicky, as the sliders are very easy to accidentally nudge when scrolling the view or accessing edge swipe features.
