Description
This app will let you know when you have voicemail waiting via an assortment of methods, all fully configurable:
Sounds (use your own custom sound or enjoy the provided default)
Vibration
Notifications
Popup window
Toast messages
Convenient access to your voicemail by tapping on a notification or popup.
Permissions:
android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE to check for voicemail
android.permission.VIBRATE to vibrate when so configured
android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED to start the notifier service when the phone is rebooted
android.permission.CALL_PHONE to listen to messages
android.permission.WAKE_LOCK to work properly when phone is sleeping
All other permissions requested are required for the advertisements which make this free app possible!

A Better VoiceMail Notifier 1.5 APK requires following permissions:
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.

5 ★ Just installed it, and only tested it a few times, but seems to work perfectly on my Moto G 3rd gen. *Edit* Wish it had profiles I could set up for different days/times, but last update was a year and a half ago, so not holding my breath.
5 ★ For some reason, my Galaxy S5 always failed to show me that I had voicemail. With this app, it's impossible to miss.
5 ★ This App is the S#%&!!! I tried a bunch of other apps and they all caused so much confusion, and only seemed to be wanting me to buy something else. Although the "ad showing version" kinda blows ..., This one has the simplicity I was looking for. You get a voicemail, and a GIANT icon shows up on the main screen forcing you to do something with it (listen, decline, remind ..., etc.). SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Much simpler than all those other apps. No More Missed Voicemails --- Thank you!!! This Rocks!!!
1 ★ This app apparently does nothing whatsoever on my Motorola Droid. I tried all settings and nothing ever happens. Zilch.
1 ★ I have the Samsung galaxy note edge and I am really disappointed in this app it doesn't work at all no sound to let me know about any emails if you can sort this out I would be very grateful because it sounded an ideal app.and is it supposed to read your emails out.
