* New Device classification type is now reflected on the Tenant Details / Company Name screen after device re-classification.
* Fixed issue where, with the agent version 2.5.2, the user remained enrolled even after they were deleted from the console.
* Feature: Debug mode is now enabled during the enrollment phase and gathers logs in case the administrator runs into issues enrolling users. Includes a way to report issues during enrollment.

4 ★ This is a great tool to block not only trackers and ads but other annoyances such as videos (as long as they originate from a different web server from the main content). And unlike browser-embedded ad-blocking (e.g. Brave) or ad-blocking add-ons (e.g. uBlock Origin), Fyde blocks apps from tracking you as well. With some tweaking it can also block in-app ads. There are some issues: - As others have noted, Fyde cannot run at the same time as a conventional VPN. You have to make a choice which you want to run at any one time based on your priorities. Also, Fyde is sometimes a bit cranky about restarting after another VPN was used. - Fyde has a tendency to silently crash after running continuously for a few days. You have to check the phone's status line occasionally to make sure it's still running. - When my Verizon Galaxy S9 was upgraded to Android 10, Fyde stopped working. There were many complaints online that this upgrade broke other VPNs too. It turns out Android's new private DNS feature is not compatible with some VPNs. It must be disabled in order for Fyde to work. -
5 ★ This app does what it says: it monitors for possible virus or malware in the apps or sites you encounter on a daily basis. The only thing it's lacking is the ANTI-aspect; if it could clean up the problem as an anti-virus/malware it would REALLY be great! As it stands it does what you have been advised, and for that I give FYDE a thumbs-up! 👍☺️
3 ★ Not clear what it does, and how well it does that. I do know that when I installed this on top ofthe NetGuard app, until I rebooted my phone, it proceded to silently block the NYTimes app, and my library app. (And probably anything else using the net, though I didn't try) I'll probably uninstall. Part of the problem for folks interested in both privacy AND security, is that you can not "stack" apps using the Android VPN api (this is an android problem- and a complicated one to solve)
1 ★ Just installed and uninstalled. Did a security check of phone after installing: no surprises. Was unable to access anything on the web at all while app was installed. This problem went away when app was uninstalled. No special permissons or alterations to base program used. I use my phone 99% of the time on the web. No point of this security if I can't get on the web. Sites attempted to access and blocked: several national newspaper websites, Facebook, medical information websites.
4 ★ Dude raises the bar for VPN. With this one, witholding the ability to use mock locations, (most) the rest in playstore are left looking obsolete. The playstore is unreliable and serves as example only for a market of false claims, unrealistic promise, and a place for every fake consumer security product available, as long as it meets google standard that buried in hundreds or thousands of lines of information, the truth exists, then google will be obliged to sell it, but FYDE, is REAL.
3 ★ I wish it didn't have an eternal notification from Android System that I'm connected to Fyde VPN. I don't want a constant reminder. I want it running in the background. My notification bar is valuable space. The app shouldn't use it unless it needs to tell me something.
1 ★ It is not blocking ANYTHING. I tested 20 verified phishing websites from Phishtank. Chrome blocked almost all, but when I turned off Chrome's safe browsing feature, with Fyde turned on, Nothing got blocked. Same result on PC. In the activity section of this app, Fyde allowed all traffics from these old verified phishing sites. PLUS, the report bug function does not work. Your support page said I can't submit a ticket. That's why this review appears here.
1 ★ Repeatedly mucks Internet connection. Open browser, type search term, , ... , nothing, can't connect. Turn off Fyde ≥ BOOM! Back online. Same with any type of app. Hidden truth, Fyde is not a VPN, yet you cannot run a VPN with Fyde. In-app support chat labeled "Typically replies within few minutes", yet I gave up after waiting 1 week. I did receive a couple replies at first, but unhelpful and a non-reply. Messages showed as read. Support ignored them. Re: reply: ↓↓ I DID. Did u not read? ↓↓
5 ★ This program installed very quickly and easily without any issues. I am amazed it the about of data it is blocking. I would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to protect themselves.
5 ★ OMG!!! I think you guys just saved my phone with this app. I been searching for something like this to help with my compromise issues. There are phone hacker using IMSI catcher to steal cell phone information in my area. This app is keeping them at bay. Thank you thank you thank you!!! Will tell all my friends about this app asap!!?
1 ★ Broke my T-Mobile Tuesdays messages. TMo Tuesdays wouldn't show my messages until I disconnected Fyde. Other than that I guess it does what it is supposed to do. Update: broke ALL of my T-Mobile apps. Uninstalled. Finished with it.
4 ★ I was using Fyde on my phone for VPN. I must have a VPN. ID and social security # were stolen. Had taken nearly 5 years to get rid of him. I also use Sophos X internet security for phone. They have worked so well. I don't get ads. My phone doesn't run hot because there are no ads coming through. It looks as if Barracuda is not used for phones anymore. I'm still using it but would like to know if you have something comparable to Fyde for cell phones. I've tried others but they bring ads. Help ple
4 ★ Nice security app that blocks THOUSANDS of data mining requests from innumerable websites like ads, Facebook, etc. I don't even have a Facebook account yet numerous requests come from Facebook for data mining. The only negative is you have to regularly restart the app to keep it active.
2 ★ Seems to be blocking my roaming data access and certain pages of the New York Times app recently. Problem cleared up after deactivating Fyde. Was not interfering until a few days ago.
1 ★ Everytime I connect to the VPN I cannot get any apps to load or web pages. Not sure what's wrong, I've used this app on iPhone and it worked great, never had any issues.
