Real-time location sharing is important!

Now you can all chat and coordinate trip details such as supplies/shopping list duties, suggested hiking trails, sights to see and meeting time/place. With the prep work done in advance, you’ll enjoy the great outdoors more without having your nose buried in a guidebook or travel app. Find My Friends also locates errant campers enroute to the meeting point and uses GPS sharing technology to estimate their arrival time. Friend Finder (and Friendship Saver!)
Find My Friends works with iPhones, Androids, Blackberrys and even feature phones. Just send non-smart phone users an invite via text. 5 ★ super convenient and accurate!!! we recently left iPhone and came to android and this is by far better than the built in location in messages. notifies me when they stop moving (car,plane etc) and you can add locations like home, school, work, grocery store and it will notify you when they arrive or leave!!!! absolutely love it!!! does do satellite camera as well
1 ★ This app is a con. There's no mention that you are directly put into a premium plan, free for a short term then charged after that date. When I tried to delete the app I only just noticed a small notification with the word premium in it. To my amazement I checked a few things and I was indeed a premium user. I only downloaded the app to have a look at it. If I'd have just deleted the app would have ended up being charged. You should be ashamed of yourselves. You need to be more transparent. Scam
4 ★ I would give it 5 stars, but the app is very slow in responding to a location. My husband can arrive at his destination before the app will show him leaving or traveling. When we are travelling in the same vehicle it will show us in two different places. Its not his phone, as it happens on mine as well. I also have my mother in my circle and it works very well for her. I think the difference in how the app reacts is the carrier. We are on the ATT network and she is on Verizon.
5 ★ Recently switched from IPhone and wanted a way of locating family members who still had iPhones. This app works perfectly, not only that but I actually think it works better than the "find my" app that is on the iPhone itself. You can share driving information and it will tell you how fast they are going along with a timeline of where they have been. Ok so perhaps that is maybe a bit too much for some but you can turn that off. Been using this for over a week and so far it's worked perfectly.
2 ★ Used to be pretty good but now often inaccurate and support doesn't actually listen to the user's problem. When I reported that the app keeps telling me that my partner's WiFi is off when he actually has it on I got a lengthy message about. How. To. Turn. My. WiFi. On. Gee, thanks for telling me how to do what I've already done. Shopping for another family locator app.
5 ★ I find this really useful for keeping a track on the kids when they are out. It notifies me when they've arrived at school, when they leave school, when they are nearly home. You can create a group for family members so you can all join it and see each other. I'm an android user and haven't used any other tracking app but i have no complaints with this app. It's never crashed in 2 years. There is sometimes a delay when tracking but that is presumably down to signal and not the app.
1 ★ Two accidents, back to back. The accident detector was useless, and money wasted. First they came up with all kinds of excuses.. oh it was poor service, your phone not charged. .. blah blah. Now they are telling me the app was unable to detect the crash because I'm using an outdated version. I'm looking for an updated version, where is it? It's not on the Google play. You're a joke and your crash detector.
5 ★ this app would be very invasive if anyone in the circle had anything to hide or even publicize (such as the exact addresses of places visited in a day. my favorite part about Find My Friends is that it I don't need to call my friend if he is running very late (which is a normal occurance) if we have plans scheduled, it saves us both from yet another phone call to ask how much longer it will take until he will get to my house. plus i know when he is 1 mile away, so i am ready to answer the door!
2 ★ Had this app for 2 yrs. Used to work perfectly. Last couple weeks it shows my circle of people at the right place on the map, but shows really strange addresses no matter where we are. Our home address doesn't show up any more when we are home, it shows really weird places. Tried all the suggestions, but we can't get our home addresses back. Shows us moving correctly....but never the right address of where we are. Very disappointing.
3 ★ Enjoyed the features of the app tell my friend couldn't get paused location sharing off. I uninstalled before my trial subscription was over.
5 ★ Great tool to keep connected with your loved ones! As a mom to young adults, this gives me some peace of mind, as I've been able to warn my daughter about unsafe places she's been unaware of. When used maturely, it also strengthens trust within the family, since it's reassuring to know everybody's there to guard each other's back. Used in the right way, I'd recommend this to any family with young kids, or if needing to coordinate schedules and trips.
5 ★ In a world of unknown danger, it's wonderful to have a program that assist in accurately communicating my loved ones locations. We've used it on, unfortunately, several occasions to find a lost phone. It even once accurately indicated the phone laying in the gutter of the road. It's an incredible app. We love it.
5 ★ This is now my favorite app. Having kids who drive, this is a great way to keep track of everyone. No longer need to text wife to see if she's left work or if she's still shopping. I can just pull up the app and stalk my family in real time. Love the check in features and notifications. Provides great peace of mind.
1 ★ I started a free trial 2 days ago. Money has been taken from my bank account already & the company have made it impossible to cancel the free 7 day trial. The trial doesn't appear in 'subscriptions' so I cannot cancel it but they have taken money out of my bank account so where are my details being stored and how do I cancel?. I've already reported this to google pay and I'll be phoning my bank tomorrow. Very unhappy please AVOID this app at all costs or don't make any in-app purchases!!!
4 ★ I've noticed a few clitches with this app. However, most of the time it works great! 04/24/2020 - Yesterday it would not allow me to access this app! I was able to report this 2 times. (I don't believe you respond to these "reports".) This is what would pop-up when I tried to access the app "Unfortunately, Friend Locator has stopped." Today I uninstalled the app and immediately reinstalled it. Now it works. I don't understand what the problem was!
