5 ★ this is so much fun! that I had to write a review! it is great to get the translation with my spoken word! and also to be able to hear the translation back! also, the ads are very pleasant and on the bottom of the screen so it doesn't interrupt anything, ingenious! a great way to think and listen in my new language! THANK YOU!!!!!
4 ★ I just downloaded and it's brilliant thus far. The voice to voice translation was a bit confusing at first, no fault to the app really. Very quick translations. I'll provide a later review when I actually use it on my upcoming trip. As a Jamaican, it's kinda sad not seeing my language here. You guys need to have Jamaican Creole in here though, a lot of tourists would enjoy that. Try contacting the Jamaican Language Unit. If it works on the trip without much confusion, I'll change to 5 stars.
1 ★ Please do not download if you want your phone to be bombarded with pop up ads. At first I didnt believe the warning comments of other users but the same thing is happening to my phone and I have no idea why. The app does mess with your phone and pops up when making calls, texting, and entering and exsiting other apps. It's really annoying and dangerous. I would definetly keep the app if these pop up ads would stop messing with my phone.
1 ★ The app itself functions well, and I was very happy with it at first. But I found that it causes ads to pop up when the app isn't in use. I would be going to text someone or listen to music just to be slapped in the face with an unwarranted ad that I couldn't skip over for at least 5 seconds. Can't say how obnoxious this is when in a hurry, and I don't care for feeling like my phone is being held hostage so someone can shove a product at me. So, one star.
1 ★ This app worked well for a while, then after I decided to invest money and get unlimited use of the app it started messing up. When I tried to use the speaking option to say what I needed translated outloud it wouldn't work. The app also wouldn't listen and translate responses. I thought this would be useful for my type of work but it failed.
1 ★ The worst...once downloaded I was getting these ads that pop up right on my phone home screen...was driving me crazy...the app would not even be running and these dumb ads would just start running as soon as I unlocked my phone to make a call or text...I did give it one star the app translator was good but the ads...I dont mind ads in the app I get it, its how free app makes money but violating my home screen thats a no go...soo bye bye app...beware you have been warned! 😵
1 ★ Every time I type or speak something, it won't translate, all it does is give a message saying "It seems your device is not connected to the network." It is connected. It also make you buy something if you don't want ads... and after 24 hours, the offer goes away.
1 ★ Dont even download this app. Seriously. It's a scam. The app is nearly unusable unless you buy their subscription, but its impossible to cancel the subscription from the app itself. I had to go into Google Play's "manage subscriptions" tab to cancel, and I'm not sure if it'll end up charging me the $40 or not.
5 ★ very handy for travel .. by accident I had downloaded a similar app to discover it did not translate to any other language than Chinese! So sadly I'll be charged for it but at least this app is free .. works .. and offers more languages and did not ask to access my files as other one had said it would.
1 ★ it wasn't so good as I had expected! also it's has been left to desire !doesn't have brazilian portuguese option i meant it is slightly different that Portuguese from Portugal. also was constantly posting advertise every time that I 'd tried to use that app! simply awful!
5 ★ I really love this app, it's more than just translation, it is a bridge. a bridge between people, a way to close the gap. A way to connect. Humanity is such a beautiful thing... and I'm so excited to see what's in store next!
5 ★ think about anywhere you go you can now have a sensible conversationwith no interruptions I haven't to stop somebody that is still in some way limited to what you have to tell the other person you don't know if your getting up very good translation or not but now you can be sure and not have to seek help from anybody but speak to who you want to talk to directly and and privately can't put a dollar on that, cant beat it with a golden bat awesome is understating it,in other words there's no words
5 ★ It's turns out that this translate app is extremely good it is easy to use and translates almost straight away. It does have the odd error here and there but with do many languages it's still very good. 5 it of 5 for me.
5 ★ really good app and does a lot of different languages for round the world.Idea for someone who does a lot of travelling also has a conversation part if you need to speak in a long conversation and also speaks to them in they language and Translates to English and back to the chosen language brilliant
1 ★ This app is awful, it dosen't translate anything right and I usually have something good to say about a app but this one is rubbish I tried to translate I do in French and It came up with Oui which is Yes (just to see if I was right) so I don't recommend getting it
