Bally Sports 8.0.8 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows an app to access approximate location.

Allows an app to use fingerprint hardware.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

2 ★ Needs work. Layout isn't intuitive but not the end of the world. This is the only app that I have buffering issues streaming live sports and casting to Chromecast. I would say the stream cuts out around three times every 60 seconds or so for about 3 to 5 seconds, and it drives me nuts. I even went as far as looking through the settings and the 'help' page to see if I could lower the playback quality so that I would at least have seamless audio. The option to do so is not available.

1 ★ Frustrating to use. Always plays ads before starting the stream and the ad volume is literally twice as loud as the stream volume. The stream audio gets out of sync with the video everytime, which means you need to restart the stream (more loud ads). The video randomly zooms to 1/4 frame and stays there, which means you have to restart the stream and watch more loud ads. This is my experience while using the app on a Sony X900H with Google TV. The old FSGO app was much better.

1 ★ While the app is necessary in order to watch the Regional Sports networks owned by Sinclair, it's very very bad. It often hangs during commercials while watching in the app, and if I'm casting, I need to stop and restart the cast during EVERY commercial break. And who doesn't love watching the same 2 commercials for Stirr and the Tennis Channel 27 times during a baseball game.

1 ★ This app is not good. The layout is horrendous. The load times are terrible regardless of wifi or mobile connection. If you disconnect for a moment due to connection issues, you have to load another advertisement to continue program. There doesn't seem to be a setting to change your resolution to help with the terrible lag. I honestly haven't found one thing that I like about this app.

1 ★ Casting from phone to tv no longer works, at all! I get a black screen. Picture in picture is def turned on, yes, that doesnt work either. I have to watch 2 adds everytime I switch off the app for 1 second. Very frustrating! Page has a weird layout with shows hard to find. Fox sports ohio, I need u back in my life!!!!!!!

1 ★ Worst app out there. Crashes, and every time you have to go back to the menu and then j to a live stream of a game, you have to watch the Ad again. So annoying. Every other time I log into the app I need to renew the connection through my cable provider. I miss the Fox app, it was way better.

2 ★ Really frustrating app. Way too many taps to get to a game, oddly low volume, frequent crashes, often forcing you rewatch the ads they play in addition to TV commercials. And no corner view if you need to use another app during the game. Just a lot of gimme features most other streaming apps have but they can't figure it out.

1 ★ Worst streaming app I've ever used! Video constantly buffers, skips around, goes from high definition, to really blurry, to normal, then back to high definition like every few seconds. App constantly crashes and shows errors when you want to stream something. Also very quiet audio, and needs me to sign back into my spectrum account for no reason. FS app was much better!

1 ★ Revised review. Horrible customer interface. Still no support for my Amazon tablet The app is marginally better with Roku, but times out every 10 minutes. At which point you must watch another ad to get back into whatever you were watching. Speaking of ads, the volume is so low on game play but deafening when am ad comes on.

1 ★ I much preferred fox sports go app layout with the live content front and center. Beyond that I've never had a streaming app that has such poor video quality and streaming quality. I have a brand new phone and I've checked my phones settings and internet connection to resolve the glitchy video and I know for certain it is the app. Poor poor quality!

1 ★ Serious problems with this app, frozen screen, endless loading, non functional commands. Bally took over from fox sports and their doing a terrible job. Impossible to watch any game for more than two minutes without problems. Whoever designed this app needs to be horse whipped, unacceptable, would give it negative 10 stars if i could. Who won the reds game? I don't know because the screen froze. I love the feature that after the screen freezes you have to restart the app and watch a 1 minute ad

1 ★ Update: not any better after switch to Bally. Casting also doesn't work after update. Also don't bother sending an email to the contact email, you just get an NDR. Provider login is clunky, casting to a TV is clunky (half the time errors out at first, then clicking again works just fine) stream consistently freezes when moving to commercials. There really isn't an excuse these days to have a streaming app this clunky. Take that high-ball Sinclair money and fix this thing.

1 ★ This app is terrible. Sound quality is poor. I can't get a picture to watch the game, even after I've signed in. With the old Fox Sport Go app there were no problems. Now I can't even watch a game when i'm not home. Maybe Bally should have left us with the Fox app until they worked all the bugs out. I can't leave a comment without giving at least one star, which isn't fair because it doesn't deserve any stars. My true vote: 0 stars.

1 ★ Horrible the audio Is always way out in front. It starts by a little but the longer you watch the wider the gap. For instance: I'm watching the reds game, they'll throw a pitch but before I see it I already know what happened because the audio. I'm watching now and it 3 pitches behind. ( almost 45 seconds) dumb

1 ★ Cannot cast streams usually. Streams actually load about 10% of the time. When they load, they start to buffer after a while and then I'm back to 60 seconds of ads. Impossible to watch a game. Literally the worst app I've ever encountered.
