Set your preferences on when and where you can do food rescues.
Get alerts when rescues become available. Opt in to rescues that fit your schedule. Rescue everyday, every week or just give it a try.
Food rescue heroes get information on where to pick up the food and where to drop it off—we guide you every step of the way.
The app gives you information about the work that the nonprofit you are delivering to. And because you drop off at directly to the organization that will distribute the food, you see the impact you have made on hunger.

5 ★ Since the recent updates, this app is great. The steps now include any (known) special instructions, links to numbers to call if needed, and the help includes a link to call the office directly if necessary. I'm sure there's a foible or two lurking in there, but I haven't seen one yet. Good work!
1 ★ I wanted to use it, but it lets me sign in and then just has a load screen than never goes anywhere.
1 ★ I have installed and reinstalled and updated multiple times and have never been able to do a rescue. I get a notification saying there's a rescue. I click on the notification. The app opens. And then it never loads the info. Very frustrating. I deleted it today after it happened again. It's impossible to use. Maybe it only works on expensive iPhones, idk.
5 ★ Such a great idea! Plus the app is super user friendly- makes it easy to help those in my community!
1 ★ People need to be permitted to take the food where the which like the church pantry at redeeming grace... not just where theyre "supposed" to take it... not very smart.
2 ★ I love the idea but on my phone it crashes instantly when I try to open it, even after phone restarts and app uninstall/reinstalls. I've never been able to open the app and try it out. I'll check back in later and hope for a fix.
2 ★ This is a great idea but I literally have never been able to even click on a rescue not even once..even if I click on it the second I get the notification it still always says zero rescues...really annoying.
2 ★ This morning I got multiple push notifications for pickups but every time I tapped the notification and went into the app, it told me 0 rescues were available.

2 ★ I have installed and uninstalled this app several times trying to get it to work. I get the notifications of a rescue but when I click on them it takes me into the app and it always says '0 rescues available'. Anyone else having trouble?
1 ★ It does not work, I keep getting notifications that I am needed but there is nothing available when I click around. I will uninstall. At this point, these startups are just looking for donations.
3 ★ It's a great concept but needs some basic refinement. For example, I get notifications that a rescue is available, but it's not in my area. There should be a way to create territories.
