Description
Additional Genuine Ford Accessories hardware is required to control vehicle features. The Genuine Ford Accessories hardware is available through and must be installed on your vehicle by an authorized Ford Dealer.
Once installed your Ford dealer will provide a SIM and PIN which is needed to add the vehicle to the account.
A yearly subscription fee is required.
The Ford Remote Access app allows consumers to:
• Remote Start
• Remote Start Stop
• Lock
• Unlock
• Audible Car Find
• Receive Security Notifications (optional feature)
This application is designed with a Power Save Mode feature that protects your vehicle battery charge when parked for an extended period.

2 ★ Seems like a good concept, but only works part of the time. Keeps saying it cannot be completed try later. Contact the vendor who says network problems and that it. You pay for a service you can use some of the time. Haven't seen an update on the app, would like to see a network status display on the app. But I'm sure that's to much to ask for.
1 ★ App is so outdated it will not work on modern Android. Also not every vehical can use this, your vehical needs special hardware as it appears to require a sim card and uses the cellular network (hence the annual fee) to communicate with your vehicle. Unsure if I have this. My F150 has blue tooth wonder why this couldn't have been used instead.
3 ★ I was using this for 3 years, the very odd time it would say error and not work. For the most part it was pretty awesome...until this morning. the app has completely locked me out and says i need to re-register. I dont even remember how, the dealer did that for me. not a great way to end the year.
5 ★ Longtime Android 10 compatibility issues fixed! Guys of you have a newer android phone and want to get to the settings, just tap the Ford logo at the bottom of the app, it brings up the menu you previously could not access on Android 9 and 10,maybe even 8. This latest update brings back the original functionality this app used to have.

1 ★ Installed it and was not able to add a vehicle. No options anywhere on the screen available to add vehicle. Disappointed that I can not get this. I had a drone mobile auto started on my previous vehicle and having an app was fantastic ! Come on Ford - what are our options for pre 2019 vehicles?????
1 ★ Completely useless app. I have a remote start option in my Explorer so I was excited to find an app that will allow me to start my car from my phone...should be pretty simple right? Well...installed the app just to see that it doesn't even have a menu button to add my veichle...to sum up the app is a joke
1 ★ I have previously used this app flawlessly. Just paid my yearly subscription to renew my vehicle and it won't work at all. Keeps kicking me out of the app as soon as I select a command. Not happy & should not charge a fee for something that doesn't work!

1 ★ Command line error. This is not up to date code. They have not taken in to account that Android has had not only security updates but that Android itself has been updated. Earlier versions of Android work just fine.
1 ★ has not been updated since January 2017? my phone says the app may not work because it is for an older version but I have a top trim level edge and would very much like to have access to a feature like this. Please update! I will update my review when this app is updated.
1 ★ Last update killed it. I can open it but when I try to push any of the buttons it crashes. Worked great until now otherwise and had been very happy with it.
1 ★ The app was working great. I updated my phone and now it no longer works on android. The app needs to be updated a few times a year to keep up with updates to phones.
1 ★ The latest update killed the app for me on a Pixel 3. My wife's Samsung, it works fine. I have emailed the developer with no reply. I doubt Ford really cares as this is an old app and that seems to be a model of theirs to influence new sales. Time to look at Tesla.
4 ★ Works ok. Crashes sometimes, but not often enough to be an issue. Interface looks like a first year programming student's first project.
