Description
In three simple steps, FoodSwitch can help you towards better health by reducing the salt, fat and sugar in your diet:
1. Scan barcodes of packaged foods with your camera;
2. See simple nutrition information on the food you’ve scanned;
3. See similar foods that are healthier based on established nutrition criteria;
4. Identify Vegetarian products easily.
5. Compare up to 10 similar products at a time
Features:
- Traffic Light Labels – if a product is low (green), medium (amber) or high (red) for salt, sugar, fat and saturated fat;
- Save your healthy favourites on personalised lists.
- Help us track the food supply by sending us pictures of new foods.

FoodSwitch India 2.2 APK requires following permissions:
Required to be able to access the camera device.
Allows an application to read the low-level system log files.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

3 ★ Good concept. Long way to go before it is usable in India. "Common" junk like Maggie noodle are not in the database.
4 ★ But add some tips for different body type.. Like if any one want to loose weight or he/she want to gain muscle so for that protein diet... Perfect diet chart for beginners as well as for professional..
