- Create and share meal plans: Use meal plans to add breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks for the week. Share them with family or friends so everyone knows what’s on the menu. Simplify your meal planning for the week - save money, save time, and avoid food waste.
- Browse thousands of recipes for inspiration: Can't decide what to cook? Browse our database of over 160 000 recipes, and filter by cuisine, cook time, skill level, and more.
- Automatic grocery lists: Tap to make grocery lists from the recipes you want to cook. Easily add or remove items and organize your list by aisle for speedy shopping. Or create a shared shopping list with everybody in your house.
- Detailed nutritional information: Get detailed nutritional information and calorie counts on every recipe. That includes recipes where you change or substitute ingredients, and recipes you submit yourself. Whether you want to make healthier choices, lose weight, gain muscle, or just know what’s in your food and make informed choices about your diet, accurate nutritional information makes it possible.
- Search for recipes by ingredients: No need for a trip to the store. Find recipes you can cook using the ingredients you already have (or need to use up fast!) in your fridge or pantry. Reduce food waste, make proper use of leftovers, and save money and time by using what you already have on hand.
- Edit recipes for your own needs: Add notes and comments about the things that you want to change so you remember for next time. Substitute ingredients, change quantities, or add notes about the cooking methods. You can also easily and automatically convert from metric to imperial and vice versa. Go ahead and personalize the recipes in your recipe box.

3 ★ I was so excited about the add a note feature but it only works online. I think giving the option to adjust a recipe to be "healthier" is extra. Mostly because I keep getting pop ups and memos to do it when I don't want to. I pick the recipes that I feel fit our health goals. I needed you to keep recipes in a digital recipe box, my meal plan all in one place with the ability to transfer it to a shopping list. The other upgrades mostly just get in the way

2 ★ I am disappointed since the switch to Samsung food. I have lowered my rating from 5 stars to 2. When I go to instructions, it says, " oops, something's amiss". I never had this happen when it was whisk app. The whole point of a recipe app is to be able view the recipe. Also, sometimes when I check off a grocery item from my shopping list, it deletes then pops back up on my list unmarked. Hope they fix this soon.

3 ★ Oops! Something's amiss! That's the message I get every time I try to view instructions for recipes now. I'll be halfway through viewing the recipe and then the page just locks me out (probably because an ad didn't load properly), so I have to back out and reload the page. It happens every. Single. Time. Didn't use to do this. It used to work just fine back when it was called Whisk. "Samsung Food" is a stupid name imo.

2 ★ Better before Samsung bought it. Used to be able to easily strip away the stupid "food blogs" and see just the recipe & steps. This is why I initially downloaded the app. The meal planning, grocery list etc are great, but having to scroll through Susan's asinine life story to be able to see instructions is the bane of my cooking experience. Not to mention if your screen goes dark, you have to scroll through it all over again.

5 ★ I was so happy when I discovered this app. I've been searching for an app that could save recipes from many sites and social media because I hated having recipes saved all over the place... and this app has the ability to put everything in one place. Plus, it has the option to edit them and to be able to add your own recipes! I would definitely recommend this app to everyone!

1 ★ Ever since Whisk changed to Samsung Food, this app has gone down the drain. It's terrible now. I can't even add recipes from URL. I just get kicked out and the message says, "Your session expired and you have been logged out." What even is the point of this app if I can't house recipes from websites. I have many recipes already stored on this app and now I can't add anything. Someone needs to fix this ASAP - or bring back Whisk. Whisk was wonderful. Samsung Food is awful.

5 ★ I love this app. My only real problem is that after they restricted saving recipes you have edited from third parties into communities, it limited your ability to fix typos and conversion errors which allow the nutrition information to be shown. But that's only important for those who enjoy posting to communities. This is certainly a robust system for personal food preparation and shopping, etc.

3 ★ When this app was called Whisk I absolutely loved it. Now when I go the the instruction part of the recipe and it takes me off the app and to the recipe website I cannot scroll through the recipe, it freezes up. Also, trying to remove a recipe and nothing happens, it's still there. Might have to find a new app.

4 ★ A star removed for Samsung stepping in, changing the name, introducing ads and a paid plan to remove them. This app still has all the great features I liked from Whisk. It allows me to share recipes with friends and find new ones. I just hope Samsung developers place some time into supporting landscape mode for tablets instead of figuring out how to introduce more ads.

3 ★ Not liking the switch. A bit picky i know, but really "Samsung Food"? Is there a reason not to keep the name Whisk? Orange buttons... A pop up shows up EVERY time you "leave the app" for cooking directions. And you know that when a new company comes in and "makes it better" it always ends up worse. So I'll jump ship now before it gets too bad and find an alternative. Also it says there are in app purchases now in the app description ($3-$30). Sooo look forward to a possible subscription.

1 ★ Whisk, sorry "Samsung Food", used to be a simple cooking app that was great. Now, the corporate overlords and marketing "rebrand" have killed this once good app after purchasing it. For example, I was looking for a simple Air Frying Salmon recipe. I found a decent one. Ingredients were listed and seemed simple. Then, it linked to someone's nonsensical food blog. Prior to changes, you'd get linked to a blog, but there were always some standards. They were easy to read, not now however.

1 ★ As far as the app itself goes, it's okay. It has quirks like limits to the number of ingredients you can put onto your shopping list. It also deleted EVERYTHING in my cart at the store when I merge them -so I have to make a list before I put stuff from the app into my store cart. I've used better. I think the name change was the final straw and I'm just going to get rid of it. Never should have changed the name. I don't associate food with an appliance company. I will never remember this name.

4 ★ This is officially my favorite meal prep app! Initially I had a problem where All of my recipes and lists were lost because I was locked out of the app, eventually I got an email from support and I was able to log in through the website which was great! Now I do all of my weekly meal planning, I create multiple list like Holiday Dinners, Sunday Trailgating & Pantry Can Goods. The only feature I don't use is linking it to instacart. It will create duplicate items in the shopping cart

3 ★ With the previous app I prefered how you could read the instructions on the app. Being redirected to the actual website is a pain as it is very difficult to read the actual sites on mobile devices. They constantly reload, go back to the top of the page or have pop-up videos that block the recipe.

3 ★ I enjoy it for finding new recipes and trying them out and recording what I like didn't like in being able to change them. However I am a book person, a paper book person. So I would like to be able to just take a picture of the recipes I have in this cookbook and it automatically fill in, but it is currently very time consuming for me to do this. I also want to respect the books rights to the recipes so make recipes from books private no matter what.
