1 ★ Can't see my BT521. Not much use. Why does the BT521 have a Fluke connect button if it does nothing?
2 ★ Connection issues. Can't get the app to recognize the device
1 ★ Very disappointed. Does not work autonomously. I need an app that can be used without internet or tracking. Tools should be useful to the technicians not for the institution.
1 ★ Needs to save data to the phone. NEEDS TO SAVE DATA TO THE PHONE. Every third review says it. People buy Fluke because they are trying you get work done. People trying to get work done aren't trying to do beta testing on an unfinished product. If there's a security concern, make it an option, not a pain. And, If security really is a concern for the end user, why does Fluke get to have that sensitive data? This app has us looking at other companies for test equipment for the first time ever.
1 ★ Can't save data to phone or SD card. If you read through the reviews here, you'll see other users have complained about this issue, and many other issues for years. Fluke says this is some sort of security measure, which, is laughable. Yeah, don't want the baddies getting ahold of my voltage measurements. The system is gimmicky, bloated, subscription-based marketing hype instead of simple usefulness. We need Fluke to go the way of IBM, GE and GM and serious contenders to enter the market.
2 ★ It's nice when it works. This current version won't close all the way even when I remove it from the recent folder. It leaves an icon in the notifications that it is still running and the only way to turn it off is to force it closed. If you don't force it closed, the next time you try to connect it won't find the device until its forced closed and reopened. PIA.
2 ★ This app is very frustrating. When it works, it is amazing and like having someone else helping you take measurements. However, half the time it won't connect, especially after an update. I have been using the same meter and phone combination for at least a year, now after the latest (forced) update, it will not find my 3000 FC. I would recommend not spending the extra money on a fancy meter, and just purchase a standard meter. I spend more time trying to connect to this app than I should.
1 ★ Horrible. The app is not free you have to pay for subscription for commercial use. It does not even work on my Samsung Galaxy note 20. Also have an iPad pro and it does not work on that either. It used to be a simple app that you would get measurements on your phone with ease. Not having a working app makes my meter useless for wireless compatibility.
1 ★ dismal... downloaded app, then connected to 435 but then couldn't see anything the analyser was doing or monitoring. One button claims to take me to a subscription service, but no one returns emails. Just seems like a money grab wrapped in a convenience blanket that offers no warmth. Pity that I have an urgent need to transmit this data but now have to rely on photographing the LCD. Not a user friendly app and certainly not what I expect from Fluke
1 ★ Abysmal. First, it keeps asking me to connect to a Wi-Fi device but won't stop (when I go into the connect screen). Also, too simple that you can't see what is actually doing. Also, if you want to email your downloaded (from the device) data, it'll send jpeg but not xls or csv. I can't set it up to save to my SD card, because my phone doesn't have a lot of space left. If I could delete this app, because I need it for work, I would as of yesteryear. :(
1 ★ Dont waste your money on these devices not compatible with much. Then maybe you should list compatible devices on the web page for the product. Still extremely disappointed. I would have appreciated a compatibility chart before I spent $400 on a mediocre product. No device compatibility chart on the app either. Seems very amateur. Look at the reviews before you buy. No one can get it to work correctly. Does not appear to be compatible with Samsung phones.
1 ★ Wifi connects to phone, but app can not locate device. Continues to scan and ends with "no devices found". Tried on iphone 8, Galaxy S9, and Samsung Tab A tablet. 3540fc Power Analyzer has no way to start a log on the device without being connected to the app. Analyzer should be able to stand alone without the need for "connectivity" Of course tech support is not available on the weekend when I am trying to get a job done.
4 ★ Convenient and works pretty reliably...BUT this app can't view sessions that were recorded on the meter, and not the app. You can't use the app to go into the meter's memory to view other sessions. Only sessions that were recorded with the app and saved to your phone is viewable. Responding to Flukes response below: Downloading with the "logging functionality" doesn't have the ir3000fc as an option. Only the "3-Phase power monitor" and the "Power Quality Logger" are options.
1 ★ Unusable. Fluke is more interested in user log-in and location (GPS) acquisition than allowing meter features to be used. (GPS is absolutely NOT required for an app to use Bluetooth. My wireless earbuds don't request phone location.) In an industrial environment where phone service isn't consistently available, Fluke Connect is useless when it really could be useful. I'm disappointed in Fluke for corrupting a great idea with a power grab.
