Download the latest Clear Outside application, version 1.1, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Weather app is developed by First Light Optics and is easy to download and install.
Previous versions, including 1.1, are also available. If you need help or have any problems, please let us know.
Description
Features include:
• Seven day hourly forecasts, updated hourly.
• Low, medium, high and total cloud cover.
• Moon rise/set times and phase.
• Sun rise/set and transit.
• Civil/nautical/astronomical darkness.
• International Space Station (ISS) pass-over information.
• Location search automatically provides a forecast for your location.
• Save favourite locations for easy access.
• Covers daytime too so also useful for solar observers/imagers.
Updated hourly. Frequent hourly updates are important because often the clear spell between showers provides excellent seeing and 30-minutes under a clear sky with a grab-&-go telescopes is pure gold!
Did you notice the ISS pass-over information? The times are precisely calculated for your location and displayed alongside the cloud forecasts so it has never been easier to observe. It is our favourite feature :-)
Also includes regular weather data (wind, rain, frost, temperature, dew point, etc) so perfect for those wanting a detailed weather forecast, without cutesy graphics.
We have had a lot of fun building and testing Clear Outside and are keen to to develop it further so if you find it useful or have suggestions, please let us know.

1 ★ Awsome app but why isn't it available for the s24 ultra. I had to replace my s22 ultra because it broke on me and I was using this app on it but I can't use it on the s24 ultra why?
4 ★ Excellent app but no longer available. It worked perfectly on my Android 10 phone. Weather forecast much more accurate and detailed than BBC. However, new phone runs Android 14, so app is no longer availAble on play store.
2 ★ No longer compatable with android 14. Are you going to update?
1 ★ Great app, but doesn't work on newer phones, a real shame it hasn't been updated since 2015
5 ★ Every amateur astronomy should try this app.
