1 ★ So far I can honestly say this is the worst app for a device I have ever installed. I'm running Androids Oreo operating system and I completed installation successfully. System is constantly dropping connection with WiFi and location is by router. I thought user menu was okay and my credentials are not recognized when trying to sync up with Alexa. This is junk and Im buying a nest this weekend. I wished this device would have worked better. I liked it's aesthetics better but functionality is more important than anything. First Alert, go back to the drawing board again!

3 ★ No trouble setting up or connecting my 2 "Onelink Smoke Detector and Carbon Monoxide Detector | Battery Powered| First Alert". However does not show up in devices under Alexa in case you want to create a routine. I can use my voice to tell "Alexa to ask Onelink what the status of my home is?" and it answers just fine. But, I cannot set it up to turn on lights (so we can see when it's dark), or flash signal lights for my deaf wife. A bit disappointing, not a very "Smart" App. Looking forward to when OneLink and Amazon add these features and stop excluding deaf people from having a safe home.

2 ★ My fire alarms went off with a false alarm, but the app wouldn't accept the command when we hit the silence button, meanwhile everything in the house is going nuts, and we have to get a broom and hit all the silence buttons.....literally if I wanted to do that I wouldn't have paid a lot of money for a "smart" fire alarm......just figured out you have to hold the silence button, but they don't say that in the app. What a mess. Also, wouldnt send to the alarm until I disconnected from wifi.

5 ★ Installed hardware and configured with this app on 1/4/2020 - went smoothly with no issues (I do have a tech background). App is modern and well designed, no stability issues on Android 10. Only minor hiccup was like other users, I skipped the Amazon account setup prompt during config, it took me a few minutes to realize it was under Menu -> Accounts. Suggest UI tweak -> when no Amz acct setup, put small "account" button on device sensor screen. Will modify review if anything negative happens.

1 ★ The app seems incomplete. It asks you to name your home, then name the room of installation twice. It's very confusing what product to choose upon setup. I have a hardwired smart smoke and CO detector which I believe is the hard wired smoke setup and not the smart setup. On top of that, the app hangs up "connecting to clover" after the device is discovered by the app. So far I haven't actually gotten the app paired with the device. It's a fail so far until I hear back from support.

5 ★ I will give it 5 stars even though I cannot use the app. I had hoped the previous non speaker version would have been updated to also work on Android. So I guess I can only use the previous hardwired model on my spouses phone or Alexa. I had hoped I'd be able to see it in the app after setting up on iPhone. The other half of the world using Android don't matter.

3 ★ Flashing green lights! I noticed my onelink sight & sound smoke/carbon monoxide detectors are flashing green! I called Tech Support & I'm told I have to go up this connect it take out the battery test it put the battery in test it! Supposedly something to do with the storage! What the hell! I spent all that money for these & now I'm told I have to do this I've had back surgery I can't be going up-and-down the ladder!I'm ready to take all 4 of them off & return to Costco this is ridiculous!

2 ★ Falls short and does not deliver. Navigation is not clear and the functions that are there do not perform as expected. The device does not support multi-room on Alexa. When Alexa is on the device overrides other Alexa devices, when disabled, it glows red. Could be so much better. Updated, stil junk.

1 ★ UPDATE--Since I received no response to my email, I called the company this evening. The guy I spoke to walked me thru everything and now both detectors are hooked up and working fine---- This thing sucks. I've been trying over an hour to connect the app on my phone to the detector and it keeps telling me I failed, try again. I then read other reviews and saw it wont connect thru a galaxy note 9. I bought the 2 pack which is now a total waste of money. I will be returning them

1 ★ Terrible. I am a Smart Home enthusiast and this is the only purchase that I regret. Communication between device and app is awful. Having to reset and reconfigure so frequently makes this a dumb device....not a smart device. I am using an android device and literally have to resetup the device everytime I want to use it for something. Then the setup doesn't work, so I have to start from zero everytime...Extereme disappointment, I wish I could have spent my couple hundred dollars on something else

2 ★ Not sure if anything changed on its side but I bought this firealarm a year ago and had it all setup. Now that I upgraded my wifi it won't connect. I reset the onelink and made sure the 2g wifi is available and working. Cant connect any more. I submitted a ticket in support and have not received any response back. This sucks

1 ★ Do not buy this product. 1) This does not pair well with Android. This has been a known issue for 2 years. 2) This device cannot be grouped. This means that it cannot play whole home audio or voice control other hardware. Thi These issues are not well known at the time of purchase. Save the frustration and return it.

1 ★ "Something came up. The application has cancelled the request to choose a device." I paid over $250 for a smoke detector! I must be NUTS! It won't connect to my phone or WiFi. I've rebooted my router over 10 times. I've removed this thing from the ceiling and reinstalled it over 10 times. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app over 10 times. Rebooted the phone over 10 times. I go through the set up process over and over and over again. Each time, I start at the beginning with the red +, The add Product/Choose your OneLink product. I choose Safe & Sound. I name my home - Home, I name the room - Dining Room, I select Alarm announcement - Dining Room. I push Continue. I then hit continue through the installation guide. Ladder, Screwdriver, 2.4GHz WiFi. Continue. Installation. Continue. Mount your alarm. Continue. Activate Accessories. Looking for accessories. We found 1 accesories. Onelink Safe Sound 93B4. I push that. It then asks for device to use with Onelink. Networks pop up along with Onelink 94B3. There's a big difference between a network and a device, but customer support says my network is the device. Strange. So I choose my network. Regardless of weather I choose the network or the actual device, I get the same message: "Something came up. The application has cancelled the request to choose a device." Customer support doesn't know what that means. They tell me that I should get a message of what the problem is. But no. I get "Something came up. The application has cancelled the request to choose a device."

1 ★ How many 1 star reviews are needed before Onelink realizes they have a problem????? App will not pair with device. It asks you if you dont see your device click here. When you do that, it asks you to try again but doesnt offer any solutions. Device is flashing blue, app is searching for new devices and.....nothing. Going on 2 hrs. now at trying to make this work.

1 ★ This app sucks. It will not connect onelink safe and sound to Amazon cloud. Must have tried 25 times with the same result. I get a failed to verify cloud connection error. Link at bottom says connect manual. Goes to the screen to connect but it doesnt work.
