3 ★ Android 5.0 Lollipop provides this feature by default: Enable Developer mode (by tapping build number within Settings > About phone multiple times) Go to Developer Options and turn it on. Under Hardware accelerated rendering you will see option called Simulate color space, click it and set it to Monochromacy
4 ★ It works, but it will recover to normal color after screen lock, unfortunately. I'm looking forward to the fix for this problem :-) My device is running MIUI 10.2.8

5 ★ Works perfectly for what I hoped it would do! Keep in mind this needs root or the adb permission because it's editing the build in setting in your device for the color space. Love the quick tile that android doesn't have.
5 ★ A simple toggle of grayscale mode. Works flawlessly, and significantly better than others I have tried. Excellent!
3 ★ The app is good but I don't want to mess up the process. Guys do this , open enable developer mode on your phone , under hardware acceleration , select last option simulate colour or similar and select monochromacy , that's it, your done .

5 ★ It works great, took me a while to enable because I couldn't get ADB to work on Win10, but after trying in Win7 it worked. Is it possible to add the toggle icon in android 6.0.1?
