App permissions

Uconnect® 3.6.2 APK requires following permissions:

Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows an app to access approximate location.

Allows an app to access precise location.

Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

Allows applications to change network connectivity state.

Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.

Allows an app to use fingerprint hardware.

Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.

Allows an application to write to external storage.

Allows an application to read from external storage.

1 ★ Remote functions won't work, even after having update done by Ram.Took to Ram, did software updates-did'nt work. After a few more times, Ram replaced the radio. Worked at Ram but not after I left it no longer worked (all referring to remote services thru this app) Took it back again, ram did more updates. It worked correctly while at dealer, but not after I got home. Now, I have to start the vehicle again, turn it off then the remote start works 5-10 min then nothing unless I start veh again

1 ★ Definitely not worth the subscription compared to aftermarket options. I don't use this app often but when I try to, it no longer accepts my fingerprint. Instead defers me to enter pin which it won't accept. I'm already logged in, why the ridiculous additional security that doesn't even recognize the user. Costs twice as much as aftermarket and won't be renewing.

1 ★ Hmm. At this time, I am unable to identify what UConnect actually "connects" to, so let's focus on the positives; the message/menu icon (Top right corner of your screen) does work by enabling the user to view how many requests have been received (failed). The app icon is basic and aesthetically pleasing with a simple interface that any tech challenged individual should be able to use; well, if it would work. Best of Luck!

1 ★ Rarely does it work inside the vehicle to connect my phone so I just use a cord. Also, the location service only searches for the car when it's stopped for a while. So if someone were to actually steal my vehicle (or you have a new teen driver you want to track) I would have to hope to catch them during a lengthy stop. The app has potential but needs improving.

1 ★ Horrendous app and all websites from Ram/Mopar. Information from a Google search on how to add apps takes you to a website that doesn't include the information. Chat is equally as much a disaster. On hold for 15 mins still no one. When you call the 800 customer support number they want VIN, email, phone, name all to tell you a simple piece of information. I hope I don't have as much trouble with the truck as I do with customer service. I only rates it 1 star cause I couldn't rate it 0

1 ★ Slow and Unreliable. Takes forever to actually anwser your request and the ONE time I needed it to work because my dogs were locked inside and so were my keys, it wouldn't work. Even though I had cell reception no problem. NOT worth the money. Will not renew after my free trial because 200$ a year is ridiculous for this app.

2 ★ Doesn't work with Android R. Update times on vehicle location is WAY too slow. Sometimes taking hours for a refresh. Any update on the frequency of location reporting. It is horribly inconsistent. Some times it's every few minutes, other times hours. And that is with the vehicle running.

1 ★ Most recent update does not allow me to login, or even try to change password. Just sits on main screen or enter email screen. 35/month for a service that had little to offer on the 12 inch screen when it did work and doesn't work at all now? Cancelling this morning and uninstalling now. Perhaps they'll offer the same information that the 8.4 inch screens do soon? Those you get a monthly report, gas levels, etc.

1 ★ Worse than FordPass which I suffered through for 3 years on my last vehicle (ford). This app is so slow, you try to open, lock or start the car, it takes literally 3 or4 minutes when it actually does work. Half thetime it fails. Vehicle info has never worked. "unable to retrieve vehicle information". This begs the question. Why on earth would you make this app available to a customer that just paid 40 grand for a SUV. Totally unacceptable

1 ★ The app is so very slow to actually make the Vehicle do anything. Tell it to Lock the Doors, 1-2 minutes it might do it for you. Try to get vehicle information, never had this feature work, ever. This Uconnect thing is useless, and Mopar should not advertise it as a feature! They should be extremely embarrassed. I think it is also tied in with SiriusXM Guardian, they should be ashamed as well! You pay $55,000 for a car, you expect all the advertised features to work. Rant done.

2 ★ Definitely needs work. Using the location part of the app is worthless if the vehicle is being driven. The mychevrolet app completely blows uconnect out of the water as far as location. I can see every turn my Tahoe makes using the location when it's being driven by constantly refreshing. I don't even know what state my jeep is in when it's being driven. I'm not even exaggerating a single bit either. The location part of this app does not work at all if the vehicle is being driven.

1 ★ I wish I could give it a better review but right now this app does not work correctly. The vehicle information screen continually shows "vehicle data not currently available". For the three functions that do work, vehicle lock, vehicle unlock, and vehicle start they take over a minute every time you activate them that is way too slow.

2 ★ Compared to Ford and Chevy this app is lacking. The GPS tracking is not useful unless the vehicle has been parked for a period of time. The other apps report back mileage, gas levels, oil levels, and other useful information.

1 ★ Won't retrieve vehicle data. Only half of the functions work. Any remote commands from the app take forever to activate to the vehicle. If the app worked right, it would be handy. I've been talking with SiriusXm for two days now and waiting for a response and of course nothing from them. Good thing it's a free trial on a new vehicle because it isn't worth what they want to charge you after the trial. Customer support just isn't there. Always wanting to switch you to another department.

1 ★ Final update after having using the app 11 months. As someone else put it FCA should be embarrassed by this app. Even if it was free I would give it one star. I finally figured out send & go nav it took 11 months I would explain it hear but it would take more than 500 characters. Send &go is based off Google maps. My recommendation get a USB cord plug it into your car use it, it's free and you get the same thing with send &go. Gm app doesn't charge for start/stop Lock/unlock FCA y do u?
