3 ★ I've been having a problem lately with the coupons I clipped not coming off at the register. Not only not coming off, but then showing back up on my app is if I had not clipped them in the first place. This has happened multiple times. At least the past three times I've tried. Yes, I've even gone so far as to go to somebody who works there to make sure I have clipped the correct coupon and picked the correct product.
1 ★ Way to go! You updated the app for it to take 10 mins to clip a coupon now. Great job, everyone! I'm good. Uninstalling now. If I can give a zero rating, I would. Update on 11/21: The app is still trash, lags, slow as hell, doesn't "clip" the coupons you want unless you rapidly tap the clip button. At this point, why bother... 🤷
2 ★ The new UI is absolutely terrible. Coupons section is ridiculous to try & navigate to find unclipped coupons. The categories section is absolutely useless. The available coupons indicator is useless because it seems to be unclear on what is available to be clipped (I have resorted to using the website to judge). The app itself is slow and glitchy. The only reason this isn't getting one star is it able to be opened without crashing.
1 ★ The only reason for 1 star is because when you press to clip the coupons, it takes 14 seconds for each coupon to clip! The old app was like that too. Please fix this! When u have 165 coupons to clip, you don't want to wait 14 seconds for each to clip. There should be a select all feature.
1 ★ The app is horrible the coupons take forever to clip if you can get them to clip and the other thing you have to go through and clip each one one by one they need to have it where you can just clip all the coupons all at one time. App keeps slowing down and it takes forever it really is horrible along with inconvenient and if they're not going to fix it and make it easy then why bother having a the app at all? Don't bother downloading it it's a waste of time and I don't think they care
1 ★ This app has been terribly slow, especially since the last update, though it's never been real fast. Shouldn't an update bring improvements? Clipping coupons takes so much more time than actually shopping and it's as fun as having surgery without any anesthesia. Why can't you enable a 'Clip All Coupons' button to make life with your app actually useable, easier to use and faster? Not sure why your company wants to make life difficult, it would be and is much easier and faster to NOT shop there.
3 ★ This app is extremely slow and not very efficient/user friendly. Trying to clip coupons and I can't seem to figure out how to view all coupons at once. They are listed by category and to get from one category to another is very time consuming. Hopefully someone is working on making adjustments to make this app more appealing to use.
3 ★ Coupons are slow to add. Ever since the new design of the app it takes way too long for each individual coupn to add to account. The app often freezes. I rarely bother with the Family Dollar app or shopping in store anymore because Dollar General app runs so much smoother. I can add Coupons faster and even scan and check prices in the store quicker than the family dollar store app can. I would use the Family Dollar app if it wasn't so frustrating.
2 ★ No dark mode or settings to adjust app. App is begrudgingly slow to the point of being a chore to use with constant errors popping up. Crashing and freezing are constant. Who approved this and how are they not fired? How the hell do you take an app from "properly usable/functional" and make it this useless? How are the lot of you THIS incompetent?
1 ★ This new update is TERRIBLE :( I was so happy when the last update was for the better: faster, user-friendly, easier to find products AND the shopping list was such a genius feature! I referred many of my friends and family. This latest version is sooooo slow and I do not look forward to going to FD on my usual weekly basis bc the app is frustrating, and I can easily clip coupons elsewhere! Nor do I recommend this app...boo!
2 ★ This was one of my go-to apps to use because you could add items to your cart, clip coupons, and head to the store and gather what you need with no problem. The app has been updated, and now I can no longer add items to a cart. That feature has been taken away, but WHY? Coupons aren't downloading, and the app freezes more than before. This was a 5 star app. it's now 2. Bring the cart back
1 ★ The new update is AWFUL! I use coupons every week for Saturday shopping. Opened it this morning and found it updated and it's so difficult to clip. Did y'all even test the new format and make sure the buttons work? There's a huge delay then it takes you to the specifics of the coupon and even you try to go back it takes you so the way back to the top. It's AWFUL.
1 ★ I used this app so much in the past, and it was well made, responsive, and took very little time to thr point where I could clip the coupons in the store and spend not even a minute extra in there. Now however i need to spend MORE TIME than it would take to clip manual coupons waiting for the app to register I tapped on clipping, and then loading it into my clipped coupons. Go back to the old format.
1 ★ Well it was nice before they changed everything. Now its more confusing, harder to use, and never seems to want to load. Takes to long to try to clip coupons. They never should have changed it. If i would have known how frustrating it would be i never would have updated the app. Its so frustrating now I don't even want to clip the coupons . It also doesn't have the list feature. That was 1 thing i loved 😭😡
1 ★ The new update is the worst thing I have experienced software related in years, if not ever. It absolutely defeats the entire point of using the application, which is the coupons! Your user interface is comparable to 56k websites. You no longer can easily navigate from coupon to the next. It freezes and forgets save. I The only reason why you get my business is because you have these coupons otherwise you're out priced. Fix it or you're going to lose millions. You've already 100 today from me!
