- check the presence of USB Manager
- check the presence of android.hardware.usb.host.xml
- find the list of connected OTG USB devices
IF FOUND TO BE INCOMPATIBLE with USB OTG devices :
It is not fatal. You can probably still make it work. Depending on the step that blocks in the test, you can look on the internet for your phone more specifically. But you will probably need to root your device.

4 ★ I guess the big green checkmark means my phone is compatible, and the specifications listed below probably mean something to someone who works in the I.T. field. But the app was free, thank you. Read all the fine print if you plan on using the extensions....there is a hidden $40 fee. 😉
5 ★ One tap on this app you get the result you are searching for, and the app design is really neat, it honestly feels like a paid app, a professionally developed app. The ads are really nicely shown at the bottom, it's not invasive and I can read it clearly. Great app, underrated.
5 ★ Does exactly what it sets out to do. Tells you in seconds if your device satisfies OTG requirements. If it does it means you can do cool stuff like connect an external USB hard drive to your phone (the same drive you use for your Windows computer). Thanks dev for this cool and functional app!
5 ★ Worked as intended, quick response, it is straight to the point, if you want to hook up a keyboard and mouse using an otg adapter but not sure your phone supports otg and looking it up doesn't work, this app will save your butt more than you think it will
5 ★ Simply the best. I had specffic problems with OTG that I obviously didn't know. It's writen in my phone's specifications that my phone supports OTG. This is not truth because it doesn't support USB Host via OTG. It only supports USB manager via OTG and USB device list via OTG. It should support all of the 3 mentioned above, not just 2 out of 3. As a result I couldn't connect any wired joystick via OTG. This app discovered this for me. Huge thanks. As I said at the start: simply the best.
4 ★ Maybe too simple. LOL The big green checkmark looks like a "start" button, but is actually the results. Would have liked a bit more wording. Something like "Yes, your device is OTG compatible" would have been great.
1 ★ Mg one plus doesn't support otg...but this says it supports. So I assume the app doesn't really work.
5 ★ It will tell you if your phone has the capability of using an USB endoscope ect. THATS ALL. It does this perfectly! If your phone is compatible with the endoscope it will tell you it is compatible if it's not it will tell you it is not compatible.

1 ★ Garbage. Can't even use it. First load and completely covered in ads to the point you can't even get to the app to use it
1 ★ It is a bad appit just gave a green check mark I tested it physically and my device did not work with it I think it is just malware everytime I turn my screen on now it goes and turns my browser on and it jumps to different known virus loading websites so I really don't like this appoh and I think they should pay me money if they want to just stick a virus on myself or at least make it a app that works and does what it's supposed to do there should be a negative star rating it's a virus and bad
5 ★ USB OTG checker is a high performance showing app where you can easily check if your mobile is OTG supported or not. Now simply connect your USB stick or thumb drive in your phone and enjoy. Definitely the best app in play store.
5 ★ Love it - straightforward and easy, just install it and get an answer. Also liked that it offers details on that answer. Did have an ad pop up while using but for a free app that told me what I needed to know quickly, I'm fine with that trade.
