Description
Functions:
- update the firmware
- make full backup of the firmware
- restore full backup
- save/restore settings dump
Supported flight controller software:
- BETAFLIGHT
- BUTTERFLIGHT
- INAV
- CLEANFLIGHT
Tested with F1, F3, F4 and F7 flight controllers
CC3D is supported but not through main usb. You have to use external usb to serial adapter.
Requires USB host support and and USB OTG cable.
Flashing is only possible through USB OTG cable. Bluetooth is not supported.
App permissions
Drone Firmware Flasher 3.022 APK requires following permissions:
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

1 ★ Paid subscription is ridiculous. Why pay a subscription to do what can be done on a computer for free? I would pay a one time charge for the convenience no problem but a subscription for is a no-go for me.
5 ★ It's awesome love it don't have a computer so it's great for me just make sure when you're flashing Speedy b or no other app pops up happened to me once at locked up the flight controller was I able to get it working again
5 ★ I feel bad for this developer. All the people leaving bad reviews because they have no idea what they are doing. You cannot brick a flight controller from a bad flash. You can always recover by booting into bootloader mode and reflash.
5 ★ This app is great using the OTG function on a Samsung (after using the droneflasher app to flash my FC with betaflight) my phone will be the only thing I need to tune in the field
