Description
SCANNING
Scanning real objects has never been easier. Print the included AR mat, place your object in the middle of the mat and let the Augmented Reality dome guide you through the scanning process. Scan the object from two different angles and it will be auto merged for better and more complete 3D results.
With Qlone, there is no waiting time, all processing is done live on your phone in seconds.
Get and print the mat directly from the app.
AR View:
You can beam your 3D model back to reality with the AR button. Automatic animation in AR requires Google ARCore and a compatible Android device. ARCore is not supported by all devices.
EXPORTING:
Export your object directly to platforms like SketchFab and Google Poly. Models can be exported in a variety of formats for use in other 3D tools – OBJ, STL, PLY, X3D. Share your models with friends through Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, WhatsApp, Email and SMS, even as an animated GIF.
PREMIUM FEATURES:
Scanning in High Resolution, AR view and exports require an upgrade to Premium.

When you buy premium, all models in your gallery and future models will be unlocked for unlimited exports in any format and it will work across all your Google devices. You will also enjoy scanning in high resolution and AR with Automatic Animation.

5 ★ The people leaving bad reviews are just lazy. I got a perfect scan on the first try using a turntable for the printout and object and a tripod stand for the phone. Incredible app!
4 ★ For small objects, this is the best app I've found, and I've tried a bunch of them. Well worth the price of full version for hi resolution mode.

1 ★ Wasted my money on this, only to find out it doesnt play well with my Note 20 Ultra. I would not recommend it.
1 ★ Paid for the full version still couldn't get a good scan. Uninstall the app and reinstall it to recalibrate. Calibration option still didn't show up. You would think because I paid for the full version that I would download the full version again from my Google account from the Google Play store but no they want me to buy the full version again. Not going to happen. Complete scam.
3 ★ I agree that this app has potential. Am I convinced that it's worth upgrading to premium? No, not in its current state. I printed their grid on regular 8.5x11 paper, and item was small. However, it was hard keeping the dome in the blue. You almost have to print their vertical grid, and do multiple poses just to get a decent image, and it still doesn't come out great. If the free version offered more features like model editing, then they could make an argument for buying the premium version.
2 ★ After multiple scan attempts (matchbox car on required printed scanning mat) results were still nowhere near usable. Mat is not consistently detected by app, despite varying distance, camera angles, and speed with each scan. Only tried free version, but definitely did not inspire confidence to purchase. Scan would consistently balloon across the length of the top of the car. Tool in paid version advertises ability to correct scans. Given initial scan quality, doesn't seem worth the hassle.
5 ★ This app is extremely useful for rapidly prototyping 3D-printed parts. Scans are pretty low-res compared to photogrammetry or laser-based 3D scanning, but Qlone is 20x faster than photogrammetry, and 20x cheaper than a consumer-grade 3D scanner. I've been using it to scan my tools so that I can design and print hooks that hold them perfectly.
1 ★ There's no good tutorial or instructions to use it. I finally figured out how to use it after 30 minutes of searching website and trying different things. But I was not happy that could not export to a stl file. No where does it say I need the premium version. It would be nice if I could export a couple first before paying for it. And that's why I left a 1 star review.
1 ★ I have no idea if this is working or not. It says that the Dome instructions will guide me through the scanning process. The dome is showing up but it's not telling me anything. I walk round and round and watch it not do anything. How long is this supposed to take? Is there supposed to be some sort of notification that scanning is finished? I'm doing a very small object for testing but it doesn't seem to ever be completing.
4 ★ It's cool, really cool. It's free. It works. I had my first object scanned in just a few minutes. One star off because in order to export it seems like you have to pay for premium. Maybe limit the number of exports for the free version? I don't know but... it's discouraging to not be able to get the file.
2 ★ Too rushed couldn't enjoy the trail cause of the timer rushing you to get a premium membership instead of letting you enjoy what limited things they provide you. other than that issue it was fine
2 ★ It makes good texture maps on some lumpy objects that don't have much of the surface detail of the original shape. I wanted this for 3d printing duplicates of real world objects, but it isn't detailed enough for that.
1 ★ Premium membership is required to export any 3d model file. Even if they give like 3 free exports a week (locked behind ads) would be acceptable but the audacity to lock this feature behind a pay wall completely rendered this app useless. Ill be trying out some other similar apps.
1 ★ 1st impression: Scanned 2 poses ( not usable as one) program stopped while merging poses, no data recorded. Waste of time. Maybe pro would work better, but not throwing $20 at them to find out.
