4 ★ I really like the app "so far". I wish it handled Tidal more like the native app though. Sounds great but with Bluetooth handling engaged it drained the battery on my pixel 7 crazy fast. But I use a Bluetooth headset all times so I disabled that feature. Otherwise a great app.

1 ★ I am trying to stream Qobuz with a Pixel 6a into a dongle. When this app works it sounds fantastic, and when it's working it is exactly what I've been dreaming of. Over half the time, this app won't even search for music. Playback is even less stable. Stutters and glitches, error messages, mutes, pause, you name it and it's here. I am a moderately capable audio hobbyist, which is to say I understand the settings and have not found anything that stabilized the app.

3 ★ An interesting app. Generally good high-res and MQA music rendering and a decent UI. However, the primary use case for me is playing off-line music from Tidal and Qobuz, which this app does not allow. In addition, it takes over as the default interface when installed. So those off-line libraries are completely inaccessible when I'm on a plane. Had to uninstall the app in order to continue listening while traveling. Your use case may be different. Looking forward to being flamed by the app maker

4 ★ I've used Rocket Player for a while now & really like it, but realized that I've been collecting more & more hi Rez music, so Switched to USB Audio Player on my LG V30+. Pretty happy with it overall, though I wish it would display the actually track numbers when playing them in Shuffle on my car display (2013 Honda Accord) every track is 01. Also, on Rocket Player, if I stopped a track playing in my car, then later came back ti resume it , it would start the progress bar on car display where it left off. On USB AP, it always tries to start the bar from beginning, so it messes up the tracking from that point one. Beyond these few niggles, though, solid player, glad I spent the $. I got rid of several of my Magisk audio addons, & just let the player do the work.

5 ★ For playing hi res audio (sample rate < 48k, bit depth < 16) on Android, especially with an external DAC, then this is the killer app. It seems the Android kernel and stock audio driver cannot handle higher resolutions, even though some hardware can. Check Extream's web site for more information and to download a trial version, as not all Android versions and various hardware will work. UI is a bit clunky, as others have noted.

5 ★ Good app but would be nice if the tidal homepage had the option to show personalized recommendations instead of the most popular new stuff so there is not much exploration with music here. But other than that this app is amazing. The fact that we can get music cleanly through our portable dac/amps is a true luxury for any audiophile looking to get the most out of their audiogear on the go.

4 ★ Great Audio. This app is worth it to override Android limitations for high res. My lg v35 gps quit so it is now a dedicated music player on my stereo. Sounds great. The one issue I have is it is constantly buffering. Every time I push play it buffers for a long time. It then goes back to buffering and stops several times during tracks. 24bit 96khz flac files. These files are on my sd card. This is especially worse on Qobuz downloaded. Only 4gb of ram.

3 ★ Very good player, let down by the player interface which I find cumbersome in comparison to others, eg Neutron Player. I eventually found, I think, the setting that allows me to scroll through songs , when hooked by BT to my car audio, but nothing I have found so far fixes the audio volume, ie, very low at times and very loud at others, this despite playing with Gain settings. I think the player screen should be simplified and the settings made available by menu

5 ★ I love this app. It's remarkable all around, and deserves five stars, but I do have a couple tweaks and suggestions for improvement. The optional parametric eq needs to be 10 bands, like in the rival Neutron player. When a lot of people use EQ, they use Harman targets that more often than not use 10 bands. Also, PLEASE try to work with Deezer (I've been on them about this as well). It'd be great to switch back to it from Tidal. Lastly, offline support for streaming services.(download access)

3 ★ Seems to have dropped support of wma lossless. This has been a phenomenal app i used with my LG V20 & LG V30. I now have a Galaxy S10, so I don't get the full benefit of the player anymore, but I continued to use it until it no longer plays WMA lossless files. While most of my files ate in FLAC, I do have a number of albums in WMA. Not a super payola format but still not sure why it was dropped.

3 ★ I loved using the app before the V6 update to the UI. I was on V5 for a while until it started crashing upon startup yesterday, so I updated. Now the UI is just annoying. Why is it that every single artist, song, genre, and playlist MUST have a picture next to it? What was wrong with a nice, compact, easily skimmable list? I made a playlist of a podcast and now I cant read the titles because there's some stupid artwork to the left of every episode! I hate the UI, where'd my compact lists go?!?

4 ★ I am using Samsung Note 9 using UAPP to listen to tidal and my library. But when I enable usb to be controlled by UAPP, I cannot hear sound from YouTube or other apps. I have to unplug and disallow UAPP to take control. Very annoying. I tried tweaking around all settings but still can't fix. When I unchecked the box to play through android when no USB dac, the sound will play thru the phone speaker. But if the box is checked, then no sound, and sometimes the video will stutter. Thanks for prompt response. Upped to 4 stars. hope this can be improved to give a better experience in the future.

5 ★ This app does a good job of playing music through my USB dac. I use the Audioengine D3 and as far as I can tell everytime something goes wrong it is Android's fault for not supporting USB audio devices correctly. The app doesn't crash and clearly has a competent, active developer improving it. This is a good premium app. UAPP does networked music, Tidal, files on SD card, everything I need. Android is just stupid for not having negative support so next phone will be Apple sadly.

3 ★ This is a great app with some gorgeous equalizer and playback options. My concern is when I'm trying to use anything else sound based, it seems to steal the audio through type C and will play other media through the phone itself. I love my flac and wav files, but there are other options out there I like. Fixed by reinstalling the app and not giving it auto perm on media connect. Morphit feature is my favorite.

4 ★ The sound quality is great. No complaints regarding that. But the main reason I am rating this low is because of the UI and UX. As other comments pointed out, the app is sluggish. If it works, it's great. Couple of features that I'd like to see: - ability to play saved offline songs from Tidal - search history for easier navigation - optimized overall performance I'll update my rating once these issues are addressed. Thank you! Edit: changed it from 2 stars to 4 stars. You'll get used to the UI.
