Download the latest Altimeter application, version 5.3.02, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Tools app is developed by EXA Tools and is easy to download and install.

Description
This altimeter app, to measure altitude uses:
- GPS satellites triangulation - works without internet connection,
- barometer pressure sensor (if available in your device) - high accurate data; if internet connection is available it calibrates itself to improve accuracy,
- online networks location services (wifi and other) - need internet connection.
You can use each sensor separate or all together.
App altitude meter includes the following features:
- accurate measurement of altitude - indication in meters or feet
- record of: lowest (low), highest (max) altitude
- smart mini compass
- full GPS coordinates - latitude and longitude
- current localization name and state
- results of measurements are shown in the chart
- ability to stop and record the results of measurements at any time
- invert background color (black and white)
- share summit top altitude pics - share photo with altitude to your friends or export them to save place.
All features are free. You can remove all ads from app by purchase "no ads".

1 ★ BACKGROUND SPYWARE AVOID THIS APP, It literally states that it is scanning all your info even when it's closed. Drained half my battery in the background too
5 ★ Using it a lot for trekking and hiking. It works for non-barometer phone too as long as have clear sky even in a forest or between cliff. It's more accurate if the phone have gps signal - data network signal - built in barometer. Thanks !
1 ★ I liked everything about this app, and bought the pro version. Today I went on a bike ride with a 900 meter peak and a 990 meter one, the app reported them as 400 and 470. If an altimeter is off by 100% then it is a failure however good the UI might be. (I checked the altitude with both google and open maps to confirm my opinion that they were a lot more than 500)
4 ★ The only issue Ive had so far is: if you set the units to imperial.. and adjust the checkpoint. the default is 1mile but, for me, when adjusting the scale they were showing metic instead. ie: 5km.. 10km.. etc. i assume it is a display bug. upon exiting the settings menu and going back in it comverts to the correct units. when changed again it does the same display bug. hope it helps. im using the app for a roadtrip across country. no use for the calorie burn. would be nice to disable also. cheers
4 ★ Only as accelerate as the sensors coming in. Which on a cell phone isn't all that accurate
1 ★ Extremely inaccurate. As much as 1000' difference between this and the high precision gps we use at work.
1 ★ I installed this while traveling in the southwest, and it was wrong from the start. Not sure why, but It hasn't measured accurately at all... Like 2000 ft low!
2 ★ The app always gives alltitude, that's a positive amd it has a feature that would be nice if it worked properly. It is supposed to track your hike with a graph of altitude gains amd losses along with distance BUT, it randomly switches off. It's a bit useless. I can ise something less for that.
5 ★ almost what I wanted in an altimeyer app. Gives value by all three methods: gps, location based & barometric. gets average of values. You can select which ever method you want. Gives real time elevation history for free. Need to buy premium service for history of previous ride. The looks is Great...
