Description
The special thing is - there are no costs for you - you don't have to worry about anything.
The only thing you need, is an android-compatible device, Bluetooth, internet connection and a bluetooth-capable OBD2-Dongle.
EVNotify monitors the state of charge for you - even then, when the car itself doesn't have a internet or app connection. This does EVNotify for you.
Image the following situation:
You are charging with your electric vehicle on a fast charger , you want to leave, but still have to wait for the car, till the battery is up to 80% again. Normally you have to look for the car's state of charge every few minutes - have to leave and go physically to the car, just to check if you are ready to drive again.
With EVNotify installed, you can easily set when you want to drive again - and just get notified in realtime in different notifications ways you've setup when the desired state of charge has been achieved.
Since the new update of EVNotify, you can also find charging stations to have an overview at any time, where you can charge next.

EVNotify - the app for your el 2.4.0 APK requires following permissions:
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows applications to connect to paired bluetooth devices.
Allows applications to discover and pair bluetooth devices.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Permission an application must hold in order to use ACTION_REQUEST_IGNORE_BATTERY_OPTIMIZATIONS.

4 ★ It's good. I'm using it with a 2020 Kona electric and a Veepeak OBD2 tool. I wish there was a way to get it to reconnect without going to settings and then back to dashboard. It connects instantly when car is turned on, but takes a few attempts when car is off or charging. Sometimes it won't auto reconnect at all unless I go to settings screen then back to dashboard which triggers a connect. I'd pay for further development on this app.
4 ★ Wont connect properly on my Hyundai Kona EV 2021. Error about invalid date. Maybe the dongle is not compatible, would be nice to have a list of compatible dongle. Tried with two dongles that works with other softwares. Unusable for me. May work for you, try it. EDIT: Got a Vgate iCar Pro from Amazon, works fine now. Had a cheap chinese and a ZUS dongles that didnt work with it.
4 ★ Connects fine to my Bolt EV, shows battery SoC but nothing else. The Chevy Bolt PIDS are well known now, you should improve support there. I'm willing to test!

3 ★ This app is on the right track. I use it for my Hyundai Kona EV. The app pales in comparison to LeafSpy which I use with my Nissan Leaf. But, as the dev states, this app is getting started and getting better. Yes, it is different to setup but it works fine AND without a ton of permissions. The biggest issues are: charging recording drops if the app is not on top so I get sections of my charges rather than a whole session, recording does not start for "drives", and it needs "Fahrenheit"/"miles".
3 ★ Does not work with Chevrolet Bolt at all. Cannot link to OBDII dongle where other apps can. Looks promising if I could get it to recognize my car.
5 ★ Nice interface, still waiting for my Ioniq Electric but played with this in the car showroom. Easy to set up and use.
1 ★ Can't connect to my vehicle. App not compatible with my OBDII device, despite device working perfectly fine with original manufacturer app.
3 ★ Very nice app, just wish it would support more of my Zoe, only thing i can see is battery percentage.
4 ★ Very simple to set up. I am currently using the Kona setting for my e-niro but understand the Niro will be coming. Does most of what I want it to do, so thumbs up. Could we please have the option to change from Km to Miles.
1 ★ Cannot get this app to work. Even when paired with my Kona, it refuses to recognize it.
4 ★ Not an owner yet, just looking. As such, I cannot get past the setup to mess around with the application. A demo mode would be welcomed.
1 ★ Need to create an online personalized account. Without it's not possible to use the app. I don't like to share my data with someone I don't know. I like localy tracking, to control my data and not spyware. Why somebody will read source code, before using an app, just to make sure it's not spyware? A free software should not force to register that it is personalized. Maybe it's great software, but I will not try, as long I have to personalize it by entering any e-mail address for using it.
