Description
The 6th international Conference on stations will take place in Madrid, between 19 and 21st October 2017. This global event, hosted by the Spanish Rail Infrastructure Manager, Adif, and the International Union of Railways, UIC, represents a unique opportunity for leaders and decision-makers to share with industry the latest experiences and best practices regarding the design, financing and operation of railway stations.
This year, the NextStation conference will focus on the topic of Smart Stations in Smart Cities. The panelists will address issues linking cities, services and technologies like low carbon facilities, city services, competitiveness, innovation, Big Data, governance, accessibility, intermodality, business, security, urban integration and social networks.
CHARACTERISTICS OF THE APP
This app will facilitate your stay in Madrid, by providing useful information for your accommodation, about the organization of the event and the venue, among other things. Important tools like the video streaming of the lectures is also available through the app, as well as ideas for tourism, cultural visits and gastronomy in Madrid.

· Venue and Accomodation: the event will take place in one of the finest hotels in the city. Book you room in the Eurostars Tower Madrid.
· Tecnical Visits. Information concerning the visits to Atocha Station, in Madrid; Malaga station or Toledo's.
· Social Media: shared information about the event on social networks.
· Information and contacts. Send us any questions concerning the organization of the event.
