Download the latest AR Sudoku Solver application, version 0.6, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Libraries & Demo app is developed by Thomas Frey and is easy to download and install.

Description
The program expects the grid to be freestanding, flat and not manually filled.
Best results are achieved in good lightning conditions. The solver does not try to solve grids with less than 20 symbols (not restricted to numbers). All symbols must appear at least once.
Use the volume keys to toggle debug visualizations.
This is not a game, just a tech demo without any practical application that I know of.

4 ★ Good clean app, no requirements that the app have access to phone identity or other stuff apps have no business knowing. Has to be used on a clean grid, no scribblings. When the app gets the solution, the screen goes from red to white with the solution superimposed over it. Used my LG phone on a 9x9 grid, might have worked better if the lighting was better. Wish there was a way to save the solution other than freezing the screen hence the 4 stars
3 ★ This app could be great, but due to bad documentation, bad UI, and unreliability, it is unusable. I got it to work once out of the 20 or so times that I tried it, and even then, the results were displayed for about half a second before disappearing. It would've been helpful if the app asked me to save a screenshot with the results so that I don't have to keep holding the phone in the air!
1 ★ Now I know it's not worth its money. And this is a FREE app. But all it does, is show a red version of what the camera sees. Nothing more, nothing less. I can do without!
3 ★ This is very impressive for an app that hasn't been updated in almost a year. At first I thought it was a prank until I found an online Sudoku with nice big bold numbers, and it works very well with that, printed or on screen. The numbers are legible enough to see the solution is correct, and it happens in an instant. Wouldn't it be cool to have a similar App that analyzes a chess game? Or scores games like Carcassonne! This app Force Closes and corrupts the Camera requiring a soft reset (an OS issue? Who knows), so I can't rate it very high, but I can't uninstall it just yet, either. Excuse me while I go blow people's minds. Acer A500.
5 ★ Its bewildering that some people don't give this miraculous app 5 stars! It solves within 20 seconds, and it solves correctly! Nothing compares to this, you won't regret downloading.
4 ★ I got this to work fine on a standard newspaper sodoku, but i had trouble getting it to work on a sodoku book. It appears that the app had trouble recognising certain numbers such as 1 and 7. A better UI could be added to include a 'freeze screen' button (easier than using two fingers to tap screen). Other than that this application rocks!
4 ★ Found it wouldn't detect grids unless reducing resolution to under 1000. TIP: press menu for options, and two fingers to freeze image.
1 ★ I have samsung galaxy grand. There is no dedicated key for camera. So how do I take the pic. If this app works then it is an amazing app. Give a touch screen capture option. Please reply. Thanking you. :(
4 ★ Once it actually captures the sudoku correctly its instantaneous. Only 4 stars, since it is tricky to get the picture right (red tint)
2 ★ Just an experimental demo. But screen all red, difficult capture, and solutions not accurate. Google goggles solves sudoku.
5 ★ Yes, it lags on powerful phones. It's a fact. Suck it up. It can be picky about puzzles, but once you get the hang of it? AMAZING!
