5 ★ Great App - Achieves Exactly What I Need I just use this for my home inventory. I got it after we had a break in and found it difficult to source pictures of items that were stollen. With this app, I can attach pictures of everything and attach receipts to keep everything in one convenient location. Wonderful app - thank you to the developers for this great idea!
3 ★ Worked very well for me, been using it for several years ... until we moved. I wanted to 1) create a new property for my new home and add all the rooms to it; and then 2) move items from the old property to the right rooms in the new property. We were downsizing, had to put a lot of things in storage, things were going in different rooms, etc. But there doesn't seem to be a straightforward way to do this. I'm having to start from scratch, find old receipts, re-take photos, type in prices, model numbers etc. The only help I could find for moving items seemed to involve the spreadsheet view, copying photos, and deleting the photos from the old property. But that still means entering all the information over again. And the help page was designed for Restoration Contractors, not home owners/renters (apparently the main focus of Encircle is to support the contractors). To my mind the lack of support for moving to a new residence is a major deficit in the app. So now I'm researching other home inventory apps. We're probably moving again in a year or two, and I don't want to have to re-do all the work a third time.
4 ★ Overall great app, but crashing now since latest update when attempting to edit inspection date. Also, if app was previously set to use wifi only, won't load anything when not connected to wifi (hangs with revolving orange circle after initial splaah screen load ) until you are on a wifi network, useless in the field. Would be great to have option to select alternative camera lens if available (superwide or telephoto).
5 ★ So below I vented as I was having an issue. But tech support reached out to me and completely resolved this and I am so grateful. So I take back my rebuke. Thanks guys! I have a Google pixel 5 and twice now I have generated a document and signed it, yet cannot get it to upload to server. We've had to regenerate the document and re-sign. Very frustrating Also if I am taking several photos in a row it will completely shut down my phone. The only app that does this
5 ★ Awesome awesome app. And it is totally free. No ads at all. Very very simple to use. Has tons of features. I wish if it was possible to put subcategory in rooms like boxes and things inside boxes. I got around by arranging rooms with boxes in between them and also showing boxes as rooms content. A bit odd but totally workable. It uploads pictures to their server and can be updated from multiple devices from family members running same account. Can also log in from desktop. 5 stars.
3 ★ Having issues uploading pictures as an invited member of a company. Photos eventually sync. But the notification that says "syncing _" does not go away, at all.. even after checking app and it says syncing complete. I cannot get rid of that f*#&#*$ notification unless I reset my phone.
4 ★ Encircle is a good tool for the restoration industry. They keep it updated frequently. We are thankful to have this as it provides good reports and we can support any individual clients Q's about their contents. Only wish we could customize the disposition field to be more drilled down and specific. Overall very good tool.
1 ★ Started off easy to create rooms and add photos but then couldn't get photos downloaded out of the app and the app keeps crashing. And then photos taken in the app don't show up in the web version. Annoying that the data doesn't match.
5 ★ Encircle is easy to access and navigate. I can take pictures, add different types of information to the pictures, input sketch dimensions, notes, contents and their descriptions all while on site, on my mobile phone. With Encircle we have been able to make unlimited documentation of our job sites and progress.
5 ★ Love it! Ive been using this program for a few years now not to complicated pretty easy for new employees to understand. Only thing I wish I could change would be seeing my location of my moisture points in my tasks so I wouldn't have to keep going out of the task section. Then when I come to the task section it will say a new day. My days on my tasks will be all over the place. Other then that it's a great program that the adjusters we work with love.
5 ★ Great app. Lots of features and easy to use. Helps speed things up, as the pictures we download off the app, come labeled per room. The hydro reports look more professional when printed off as well.
2 ★ The app is easy to use but there should be an option to zoom in/out when taking photos. My phone is a Galaxy S20 and I have to step back every time I want to take a photo because the camera is too zoomed in and there's no way to zoom out!!!!!
5 ★ Absolute fantastic immediate response to my issue, took a couple of emails to get the app working again. Have to say that I have never found any other app of this type to even come anywhere close to it. Thanks for the support
5 ★ I tried every Home Inventory app I could find, and this one is the best of them. It works incredibly well in tandem with the Web app. Free and no ads, too. Exceptional!
5 ★ Encircle is a dynamic and much needed application. I really have no issues with it besides I wish I was able to move the shutter button for the camera. Good job Encircle!
