3 ★ The app is nice and simple but a redesign of the app is needed. Battery percentage of the mug should be on the main screen above the temperature instead of the setting section. The other fix would be to have the mug show different battery levels with the led light on the mug also.
1 ★ Seems to work fine with the mug initially. Really weird experience for me to see a mug wanting to access call log and contacts when pairing. Even stranger to have firmware updates but this is 2021. Sounds in app when adjusting temperature seems loud. Units for temperature should default to local units eg Celsius for me in AU. Keeps asking to be paired again and app fails to connect. Very frustrating. Pixel 5.
2 ★ This app just plain and simple does not work. The updating never completes, it decides it's "connected" but the settings never transfer over, and the mug disconnects when out of range and will not reconnect without a repairing the mug. The mug itself is nice and it will work without the app, but what a let down this products support is.
1 ★ Nice mug, terrible app. Just got it yesterday, and the pairing with my phone (pixel 5) seems to stop working after a while. It shows up under Bluetooth but doesn't connect. The app seems to think it's connected but doesn't respond (changing colors, temp). Had it less than 24h and I have to constant unpair and re-pair.
1 ★ Impossible to use this app. When first opening the app, it asks you to pick which mug you have. There's no way to select anything but the thermos in the center. It refuses to let you scroll left or right to pick a different option. The mug is amazing. This app is absolute garbage.
1 ★ Not worth it. Received this mug for Christmas, and the app hasn't worked since then. I've gotten tired of unistalling the app, so I just use the mug. Quite frustrating when you pay $$$ for something and can't reap the benefits.
1 ★ App connected to my mug maybe 1 time when I first set it up, but after that, it doesn't ever connect even with all the trouble shooting options available. Unfortunately that means I have a $100 mug that essentially works the same as any other mug.
1 ★ Love the idea and the mug, but the app won't stay connected or find the mug without reinstalling it every time I want to use it. Yes, I've tried all the troubleshooting steps; no, they did not work.
1 ★ After a ton of work with customer service, it seems that the app doesn't work and warranty does not cover connection issues. They don't cover the issues that they create. Definitely do not recommend this product.
2 ★ I still love the cup WHEN IT WORKS but the last update made connection issue and need to re-pair a daily battle. With real regret i can no longer recommend this device at all. Two stars only because it still works as a dumb coffee cup.
1 ★ App won't even detect the mug while Bluetooth is on and mug is next to phone in pairing mode. My phone shows the mug in Bluetooth settings. I can even connect to phone through that feature but not in the ember app. Disappointing
1 ★ Worked fine for 3-4 days, and now just won't connect to the app. mug is great and still keeps coffee hot, but lack of the app is disappointing. Please get it fixed asap

1 ★ Get ready to troubleshoot every morning before your coffee fix. You know what doesn't fail anywhere near as often? A plain old ceramic mug.
