Download the latest Unread Badge (for Gmail) application, version 2.2.15, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Communication app is developed by EllevSoft and is easy to download and install.
Previous versions, including 2.2.15, 2.2.14, are also available. If you need help or have any problems, please let us know.
Description
• A widget that shows the number of unread emails
• With one click, it directly opens the Gmail app with a specific account/folder/label
• One icon can have one-click links to different accounts/folders/labels
Who needs it?
• People who often check email
• People who have multiple Gmail accounts and don't want to launch Gmail app -> Swipe left for menu -> Select account -> select label (Only one-click is required with Unread Badge. Yes, one-click)
• People who wants to customize the Gmail icon
What does it do?
• You can use multiple Gmail accounts
• You can select different labels/tabs/folders (*paid version only)
• One widget can support multiple accounts and labels
* The Exchange Accounts (IMAP accounts) are not supported. It is technically not possible to support it at the moment. We will support it as soon as it is possible. Thank you for your patience.
Following permissions are needed:
• GET_ACCOUNTS: To read available email accounts
• READ_CONTENT_PROVIDER: To read unread email counts
• Notification Listener Service: To be notified when a new email is received

Unread Badge (for Gmail) 2.2.15 APK requires following permissions:
Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.
Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.
Allows applications to open network sockets.
Allows an application to read from external storage.
Allows access to the vibrator.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows applications to disable the keyguard if it is not secure.
Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.
Allows applications to access information about networks.

2 ★ Poor app. I have multiple gmail accounts and what accounts I post or set a notice for the app sometimes works but too often reports of mail is in the box when there is nothing there. The total number of emails as tokens for quantity also is not accurate. I paid for the top product but don't waste your money. They won't refund it anyway after you see the short comings of this app.
4 ★ it's great and does what it's meant to do! my only problem is a personal one in that if you're also the type to care about your homescreen aesthetics, it doesn't let you customize how the counter looks like.
1 ★ Totally unable to get it to work. Installed but nothing happened.
2 ★ I hoped this widget would show the number of new emails since I last opened Gmail. I have hundreds of unread emails, being reminded of those is not helpful.
4 ★ I rate it 4 cause it solves my problem with motorola not displaying number of new e-mails in gmail icon . I would appreciate paid - ad-free version and an option to dismiss the notification until newer email(s).
4 ★ It's a great and definitely needed app but there should be a way to not have the Notification Alarm pop up on screen and just have the unread badge count.

2 ★ tried it but it drives you mad when you ate on a call and an email comes in. Constant new email notifiers buzzing in my ear. wake up programmers, this is not a feature!

3 ★ i already bought paid version before but now when i re installed and wanted to customize labels it keeps telling me buy paid version then takes ne to playstore where it is written (item not found)!!!!!!
5 ★ I was missing emails but not any more. Works flawlessly on my G3 and Android 6.
1 ★ In this version you can only select tracking of Primary folders and nothing else.
2 ★ sonething went wrong and the read circle is the entire icon size. all is custimize settings in the app are default.
5 ★ Galaxy S7 never had Gmail notifications until now. Works great...love it.
2 ★ I installed it but it does not show unread email in the widget only when I open Gmail from the widget.
