Download the latest Upgrado application, version 1.2.2, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Tools app is developed by Elite srl and is easy to download and install.
Previous versions, including 1.2.2, 1.1.9, 1.1.8, are also available. If you need help or have any problems, please let us know.
Description
Tips / troubleshooting:
- Be sure that the trainer is powered and the blue led is blinking.
- Keep the device close to the trainer to improve the transmission
- Close the all the app using Bluetooth in background (my E-training, Zwift, TrainerRoad, The Sufferfest, etc…)
- If you have problem in the connection, try rebooting the phone/tablet and the trainer. If this doesn’t fix the problem, contact us at myetraining@elite-it.com
App permissions
Upgrado 1.2.2 APK requires following permissions:

5 ★ Installed easy and upgraded first time no problem on Direto XR.
1 ★ Crashes all the time
1 ★ Useless app. Just as Elite support which failed to resolve even minor issues with the trainer. If (and when) the app works it says the firmware is up to date. Why would a buyer need this app if Elite have no intention to update firmware of Drivo?? Not a single firmware update was ever released from 2017 (date of manufacture), despite many issues. Turns out that Elite lied claiming that (email quote) 'at the beginning of next year [2020] we are going to release a new firmware update for your trainer that will improve the reactivity'. P.S. Elite should've recalled all Drivo hardware revisions that are powered by tiny 24W power adapters. It's obvious that the power is ridiculously low for any decent stepping motor. Deceiving customers with 'firmware updates' fantasies is a dead end.
1 ★ Only selects a Quobo Smart for my trainer. Won't let me select anything else. I have a Novo Smart!!!!
1 ★ Does not recognize my direto xr will not come up so cant download when no unit is shown on app. When you spend $1000 dollars on a trainer connectivity should be easy including auto updated firmware this app is a total POS, I had high hopes for this trainer but now sending the elite direto xr back to store. My time is valuable and rather not try figuring out BS software.
1 ★ Login for firmware update, nobody has time for that! Why login? I am 100℅ it is not necessary from a tech perspective. But why make it easy for the user??? Update: why do you need exactly the login data for the upgrade? I haven't received an answer. To show graphs to management who updated and who did not? It's not fair to force this just for updating the firmware. Do I have to login when I download a new firmware for my router? I'm very disappointed in your company and I don't trust it. I will delay the update, I also see that there are issues with recovering the password. What else is not working? That's why I can't afford to have a failed firmware update at this time with the lockdown. I'm sorry, but in the end I see that your management don't value the customer, so that my review is 1 star.
2 ★ The app is OK but the lack of functionality a shame. After years of discussion on forums, Elite has yet to release the tools to change the resistance response times in ERG mode on Drivo, Drivo II etc. Some owners had their trainers patched by their technical support team but this is a slow process. Users should be able to select response times themselves. Short intervals of high power in ERG mode can take more thn 10 seconds to reach target power rendering an otherwise great trainer useless.
3 ★ I don't understand the need to log in. Password recovery was painless. User name is email address - but they don't tell you that. No update available for my first-generation Drivo. Which means sudden changes in the power setting in erg mode continue to result in 40 seconds of overshoot. Digital feedback control has been around for 50 years. Elite engineers should read a book on the subject.
1 ★ Awful app, having to create an account is only a minor issue, the main issue is that the app dosnt work half the time. Why would I be surprised, my Direto X stopped bluetooth stopped working and the ANT+ is so bad that it is useless.
1 ★ First screen you see in the app asks you to login. Forget password doesn't work, displaying a dialog to confirm that an email will be sent but "Ok/Cancel" buttons are displayed, thus I am stuck and can't update my trainer.
3 ★ Just keeps saying that there's a network error. Edit: Turning off WiFi allowed it to start the update, but took a few tries as it kept losing connection and saying to unplug and replug the unit.
1 ★ I would love to be able to log in and try this app but it won't let me in. Password reset confirmation box asks a question but doesn't have any response buttons. 💩
1 ★ Download successful but unable to create account. Name and email address entered, password entered and repeat password, can not get any further registration stops at this point so app is useless
2 ★ Shouldn't have to log in. Why not just have an option to log in and create a ticket if there is an issue?
1 ★ So far, the app doesn't find the trainer,nor any Bluetooth device. The message "no trainer detected " is the only thing I can read. (OnePlus 6)
