Description
On average, children in our system learn 1.5 years of mathematics over the course of 10 weeks using our system just 30 minutes per week. Recommended usage is 10 minutes per day, 3 days per week.
We teach mathematics as a language and cover from counting through Algebra. We accept students of all ages and designed our Algebra curriculum to remediate University students struggling with upper level mathematics. Progress is measured by our Elephant Age (TM), the average age a student outside of the system is doing the same mathematics as your student based on federal standards.
Reports are generated live providing detailed information on what we are teaching, how we intend to teach it, and how you may take learning outside of the system with fun activities if you wish to be more involved. The subscription includes live coaching and tutoring by our Results Counselors who are able to look at the data and advise. Please sign up on our website prior to downloading the app.
The system adapts to the student providing a completely individualized learning experience for each student. The end result are students better understand the teacher in the classroom. They have more confidence and actually enjoy class.

5 ★ I am sincerely impressed with how easy it has been to navigate this program. My kids finally *got it* with the basic math concepts. The app itself is easy for parents to track progress and monitor what each child needs to focus on.
1 ★ Painfully slow!! Many times the verbal directions take so long to be spoken, I wonder if they ever will be. They are then spoken in various dialects of English which is confusing to some children. When my daughter clicks on an answer, the lag leads to frustration for both of us. Sometimes she will click 2 or 3 different answers before it acknowledges any of them and there's no way for her to get the feedback on which one was correct. When teaching new skills, feedback must be immediate!
2 ★ It would be an OK app for a child to practice some maths if it was free. Very simplistic games and app. it's essentially the same game with different theme choices. The way questions are asked is confusing for my 5 year old, so I need to be next to her and explain each question. Nothing can justify the monthly fee of 35 dollars. There are programs that charge far less, have many more games and overall better system.
3 ★ I really like the idea of this application, but alot of the questions were worded in a way that was confusing to my 5yr old(tested at 7yr old level) to the point that she got frustrated & just didnt want to learn. Some of the questions would also time out & others would ask too quickly with no way of re-asking the question. I think with more work on the application, it could be great!
3 ★ It doesn't really reach them. it gives problems and the kid has to solve them. My son enjoys it, but daughter hates it because of no explanation. The app also lags after you answer which is frustrating to children. It is $25 a month. I am honestly thinking about cancelling. It does help though if your child likes to figure things out for themselves.
5 ★ We absolutely love Elephant Math! I can see so much improvement in my son's math. It's engaging, fun, addictive, and well worth it. My son loves this app. He's so proud every time his elephant age increases...I think he plays it sometimes just to increase his elephant age...I wish I would have discovered it sooner...and the company gives back and help. What a Great App.
5 ★ I have seen negative reviews but I think most people fail to understand how the app works. It is not designed for entertainment it is designed for you to sit and help you child learn math skills. The biggest benefit of this app is the reports that allow you to track your child's progress and then provides you with activities and questions to help you work with your child and teach them the skills they need. They provide support and lots of manipulables and examples to find what works.
4 ★ my children did not like it, had to fight with them to do it. the app was faulty, over multiple devices (so it was not a device issue). I cancelled our subscription in november. they have continued to take money out of my account. I am very unhappy at this moment. Tried to call and find a resolution. but they have no phone support at this time it says. UPDATE: Rcvd a call, refunded 3 months of fees, spent time trying to work thru issues. giving us a few months to try it again. so far so good.
1 ★ Very poor quality app. The quality of a free app for the price of something exceptional. ABC mouse and monster math are a much better resource for learning and practicing math and at a fraction of the price. Khan Academy is instructional AND free. There is literally no discernable reason why this would cost $35/month.
5 ★ My children love how fun and simple this app makes math. My daughter quickly advanced her math skills through elephant learning. I was skeptical at first but it was a tremendous help and I'm thankful for it's easy to use and entertaining approach.

5 ★ Love! It's great on the aple platform, not so great on android. But we love the quick progress our 5 year old has made in 2 months. Simple platform, no frills, bells and whistles. Similar and effective!
1 ★ Isn't plug and play. Downloaded the app and found i cant even sign up through the app. Go to the website and it wants me to do a free trial and pay 35 bucks...... no thanks. Khan academy and loads of other resources are FREE. Doesn't matter if you have proven methods or not. Ultimately pencil and paper are the way to go. Didn't even try it because 35 is too much for what this offers.
2 ★ Software issues! I haven't begun to use it and already problems with signing in to use the site. The site cut off while my child was in the middle of doing the assessment. We will see if this works again. If not im cancelling. Advice to Elephant learning: If your going to sell a program ,make sure that all features are working properly on the app and website
2 ★ It's ok on my Android phone, but not working correctly on the Kindle Fire-- keeps telling my daughter her answer is wrong when she hasn't even touched the screen yet. it only happens on the left & right boxes when asked which one has more or less.
