5 ★ I just can't do without it because its allowed me to locate farmlands more especially the swampy terrain which is not easily accessible.
3 ★ Not a bad measuring app. Add the ability to manually in longitude and latitude coordinates. A few more upgrades & bug fixes, for instance, I plotted my land perimeter by gps. I plotted a few extra poi's, then saved all the perimeter poi's as group 1. When I select group 1 as a filter, all my tracking & everything drops off the screen as expected, except for my extra poi's. The only way I can remove them from showing up when I just want to see group 1 is to delete them. But, I need them. Also, I believe the surveyor I used got a main corner plot stake wrong. I would like to enter the lat/long from the original purchase survey to see how far off he is. With my cell & this app, 9.84 ft is as accurate as I can get which is not good enough for this application. Ive searched everywhere for an external usb active gps antenna or module that will work with android & haven't been able to find one. Shouldn't this app combine cell triangulation with gps info to get a more accurate reading? Im using a Samsung galaxy 8s active, which is supposed to have a great gps for hiking. I tried a few other apps but they didn't work well or were difficult. I'd buy an app but the best rated ones are pay before you play, & I won't buy if I can't try. Evaluation is important for an app like this. Im not paying a monthly fee to anyone either. I'd pay up to $15 maybe 20 for a more accurate version with a few more additions. This one is still better than a lot of the ones out there. Anyone got any info on a gps nodule for android or a better app, let me know. Otherwise it's dragging out a laptop, which is not easy in thick woods.
