1 ★ I refuse to give such a basic app so much access to my device's information. Files? Location?? Forget it. Doesn't even open if I deny it permissions. Edimax, fire your entire software development team; every application you have on here is a joke.
1 ★ Asked weird permissions, denied, app empty no display, how am i supposed to set up wifi extender?

1 ★ Be prepared to lose your device on off switch.. once loaded the app looks like it has worked but the scheduler is the only way to turn on pr off..no good with alexa again if it does undedstand your command nothing will happen..
1 ★ It is junk and a time waster. I have 10 ediplugs that worked good on ediplugs app but when I changed to edismart app it went down hill from there to 0 plugs working.

2 ★ The app is terrible. Half the time it is not able to connect to devices. When I program a schedule on a device, the device randomly turns on and off while editing the schedule. If a device can't phone home to Edimax servers, it ignores the programmed schedule and leaves the device in the current on/off state. If you manually change the state of a device the software will override your manual control. For example: If I can't turn on a device with the app, I turn the device on manually. Withing 30 seconds, the device will turn itself back off, defeating manual control. A complete waste of time and money. Stay far, far away.
