App permissions
eCab, the new taxi experience 3.7.2 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.
Allows applications to change Wi-Fi connectivity state.
Allows applications to access information about networks.
Allows an application to write to external storage.
Allows an app to access approximate location.
Allows an app to access precise location.
Allows read only access to phone state, including the phone number of the device, current cellular network information, the status of any ongoing calls, and a list of any PhoneAccounts registered on the device.
Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.
Allows access to the list of accounts in the Accounts Service.
Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.
Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.
Allows access to the vibrator.

1 ★ This app is awful. Twice has scammed me out of money. Cabs never show up. Ends up charging me anyways. Zoro was a way better app. This is garbage.
3 ★ Whole experience good... frustrated by the app not recognising that address where we were stood was different from initial quote. Had to cancel and reorder
1 ★ Unreliable half of the time crashes and when it does not the taxi never arrive on time. I strongly recommend UBER far more professional service.
2 ★ Horrible service in Vancouver. Estimated arrival time is not precise. Taxi "arrived" and we waited for almost 10min after calling and getting a "we will send another" that never happened.
2 ★ Crashed when I tried to sign up. When I tried to order a cab, it wasn't until the very end of the process that I was told that my area isn't served by eCab. In general, confusing user experience.
5 ★ I use it to preorder a cab in the morning and they always turn up a couple minutes early. Never had a problem.
1 ★ Doesn't work. Advertised by local cab company but it's says that it's not available here when I open the app. Epic fail
1 ★ Terrible App. Taxi drivers cancel on me constantly. Trying to copy the other ride sharing apps. Unfortunately it is unsuccessful.
5 ★ Only one rough experience over 4 days, and it was during rush hour in vancouver. Everything else has been great
1 ★ DO NOT USE - App is buggy and on multiple occasions takes money even when a cab never arrrives. Customer Support sends you to beg the taxi companies for refunds (and they refuse saying to talk to eCab)
3 ★ Thinks I live in Paris. Bombs out occasionally. Could be better.
2 ★ The app is okay but the ability of taxi companies to work with it and follow through with your ride just sucks big time. I'm uninstalling it.
