The app lets you personalize your hearing devices to hear better in restaurants, crowds, meetings, and at the theater. We can even help you hear the phone and TV better. Want even more personalization? You can personalize your treble and bass settings for each ear and in each program. Get ready to hear life again…in surround sound. 4 ★ Limited usefulness due to the fact that it can only be used when the Eargo devices are in the charger. The app allows the user to select one of several situational settings (TV, Phone, Crowd, Meeting, Restaurant, etc.) for each of the four power levels. You can also boost or suppress treble and bass, but it's an all or nothing adjustment. It would be far more useful if the app could connect the the Eargo devices while in your ears to avoid double-slapping your ears to adjust the program level.
5 ★ Customer service is the best. Fine adjustment of your Eargo devices is simple and easy with this app. I have used it on two phones of different quality and this app works well. Want something you don't see or have any questions, they are there for you and they usually resolve your issue within 24 hours by message or email. Or call them on the phone. They are prompt to call back if they are on the phone when you call. I usually reach a person about half of the time.
1 ★ App incapable of updating your setting when you change the programs on your hearing aid. Doesn't seem to have a solution and customer service is clueless.
2 ★ Just got the Eargo Neo HiFi hearing aids downloaded this app and found it about cluncky to use, though may be better after using it for a while. However, having to have the units in the charger is a huge drawback! The app should connect directly to the aids so that programming changes can be made as needed.
2 ★ The app really does nothing. If you have your charging case with you you can see the battery level. Hopefully in the future you will be able to turn them on and off an maybe tweek the volume. The hearing aids themselves are wonderful. Don't let the lame app make you not try the product.
3 ★ Works, but not very flexible. The volume appears to be fixed for each program. I can't make the volume adjust to the level I want for each ear. The tone adjust is all or nothing. I can't set it where I would like it.
3 ★ App is somewhat useful but not at all descriptive of the actual gain for each fixed setting. The feedback with some of these will blow your head off. A slider with variable decibel settings would be much more useful.
2 ★ What this app needs is a way of creating a custom profile for each ear's Eargo device that comes close to matching an audiologist's test results, similar to the service an audiologist would provide in his/her (yes, there are only two genders) office to match an in-ear hearing aid to the patient's hearing loss. It's a digital sound device, right? My phone and home theater amplifier, (which cost far less than Eargo Neo) can adjust and save the dynamic response curve I choose. Why not Eargo, then?
5 ★ Lots of anticipated questions answered clearly. User needs consistent use of the app to gain confidence in navigating features. Wonderful that human phone support is available and responsive.
5 ★ Great progress on the software. It looks like you guys have been hard at work killing all the bugs. Well done. By the way. I love my Eargo environmental equalizers.
5 ★ Just trying out the Eargo HiFi hearing aids and downloaded this updated app. Many new functions. Everything.is great so far. Love how you can.fine tune.to.your ears separately.
