Description
You can use this app to:
• Find an Electrify America charging station
• Get directions from your current location to a selected charging station location
• Become an Electrify America Pass or Pass+ member
When you sign up for a free Electrify America Pass membership, you can use this app to:
• Check the availability of a charger in real-time and get notified when a charger becomes available
• See charger details and save your favorite charging stations
• Start and stop your charging session from your phone
• Track your charging status easily while you shop or dine nearby
• Get notified when your compatible EV reaches your desired state of charge
• Pay contact-free from your phone
• See your charge history and email a receipt

Electrify America’s powerful DC fast charging stations support all CCS (SAE Combo) and CHAdeMO-compatible EVs. You can also use the app to find Electrify America’s Level 2 chargers (with J1772 connectors).

1 ★ I can't even create an account! Always says "something unexpected occurred, check your internet connection". Useless app.
4 ★ Works well for public and home charging. Connection to home charger is a little inconsistent so setup was a little tough.
3 ★ Couldn't charge at 3 of 3 different EA chargers in PA using my Android phone (Pixel 5) today. Luckily my husband's iPhone app was functional.
3 ★ These chargers apparently hVe two NFC pads. One is used for payment (cards, google pay), the other with the EA app, that can also be used to pay for charging. If you have the VW 3 years free, you need to use the 2nd one with your phone. If you use the wrong one, it brings up Google Pay instead. EA support evidently doesn't know this. And to top it off, on some cabinets, the second pad is hidden underneath the 1st one, and for tall people you can't easily see the thing.
1 ★ Chargers always fail. App fails even worse! Left me stranded and had to get towed! Put my car into a failsafe mode for several hours. Such a disappoinment! Ruined my day.
1 ★ "Unexpected Error" when I attempt to create an account. Glad I found this out before I needed it.
2 ★ Update. No response from this issue reported months ago. I guess the EA devs don't consider my issues important enough. Prior review: Had real trouble activating at Livermore this past Saturday. It was hot, and connectivity was weak. First it refused to do anything before updating the app. That took forever. Can you please change it so we can defer app updates until later, when on wifi, and can we please set it up so a credit card can be used and still get PASS+ pricing?
5 ★ Great app that lets you know exactly where their chargers are. Easy to use and gets the job done. I traveled across the US from California to New York and back thanks to this amazing charger network.
1 ★ App initiates charging session with ease. The problem is EA chargers don't work well with the bolt and they keep stopping as soon as it starts and tellse I have 10 minutes to move or pay excess fees. On top of that I cannot retry the charge session because the app won't let me go back and attempt to restart for minutes.
1 ★ Charging with NFC will not work unless Google Pay is disabled beforehand. I am not doing this every time just for your app. Please just make the EV Pass available through Google Pay like it is through Apple Wallet on iOS. Clearly it's the only way it'll work.
2 ★ Buggy to say the least. Always get charging error message right after the Initiating Charging screen...even though the charging is still active.
1 ★ I understand the rationale, but I shouldn't need to turn on location tracking to activate a charger. At that point it becomes easier to just use a credit card.
1 ★ Update, Your app doesnt have an update, so stop using it as an excuse. Previous report, The new app stucks at initiating charging while I'm already plugged in charging.
3 ★ Now that I've actually been successful with a remote start charge, I have a little less reason to be pissed. Now I'm upset because credit I loaded on my acct some time ago, myself, is gone.
3 ★ Address search is not working, just zipcode. Can't set favorite locations (destinations) or home address.
