Description

App permissions

DTC 2.22 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to access information about networks.

Allows access to the vibrator.

Allows applications to open network sockets.

Required to be able to access the camera device.

Allows an application to initiate a phone call without going through the Dialer user interface for the user to confirm the call.

Allows an application to record audio.

Allows an application to read the user's contacts data.

Allows an app to access precise location.

Allows an app to access approximate location.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

Allows an application to receive the ACTION_BOOT_COMPLETED that is broadcast after the system finishes booting.

Allows applications to access information about Wi-Fi networks.

2 ★ Booked taxi 2days before my flight to abudhabi. Taxi come late don't have PCR no number to call for rplacment endof talking took the expensive taxi

1 ★ My first trip, the driver didn't come and told me to cancel and find another driver because him busy.. I would give zero because of the way the driver talk to me and I wasn't able to make a new trip

4 ★ Love the cars but sometimes the apps lags a lot. And there is not enough cars i think. And i think you should mention to your drivers to always take the fastest way to the destination.

1 ★ Generally I book Dtc cabs, but they are charging double the amount then normal RTA taxi, I am so annoyed with my last trip, where I visit often n pay 25aed I ended up paying 47 aed. Driver took long way to reach the destination ,from home the destination he put in his system, he changed in-between to make higher fare. Please make sure if you have extra money then only book these useless ppl.

1 ★ Primitive app. Does not have a way to redeem receipts not ordered thru the app to shukran points. Yet they send their drivers to pick up people from the airport. Not only are they expensive but also cars need maintenance that is overdue.

1 ★ My application opens but it does not show me the type of cars to be booked. It is just stuck even when i click book a ride nothing happens. I uninstalled the application and installed it again but still nothing works

1 ★ Upgradation is good..but have a look ur driver s condition. Who make money for u and in return they get rude and just rude bad service....check how much money they got after 30 days work..they don't know whom they approch in genuine problems...haha

5 ★ Wonderful experience. Will recommend to anyone who wants a comfortable ride.

1 ★ Used them once! The car was late because the navigation wasn't working properly. Ended up having to give directions to the driver. Their estimates were completely off so they worked out more expensive than Careem. Deleted the app! Who needs the headache.

2 ★ This app keeps failing in my phone... no idea what to do

2 ★ App doesn't have any means to contact them except through email. Tried contacting them and the response will be sent within a week. (What to do if something goes wrong and need immediate assistance?)

1 ★ Deceptive marketing and false advertisement On the link to download the app, it clearly states that the first purchase has 25% discount. I created a new account and booked the first ride. There was no code indicated or any t&cs. I emailed them before the ride was finished to say I didn't see any 25% when I booked and they repliés after the ride saying I will get 20% on the next ride. I don't want that, i want my bill with the correct amount.

4 ★ Thabks a lot for the great work! Looking forward you takeing over Uber & Careem! notes: 1) the app can't remember or select default payment method, always defaults back to cash when booking 2) ongoing and cancelled bookings are not listed under my trips which is a bit confusing if the trip get canceled 3) I personally would love to pay at the beginning of the month in advance for the entire month rides but with a discount, careem's style worked ubtil they increased prices, thank a lot!

5 ★ App isn't working well : I've tried adding my credit card 4 times now and it just does NOT register. But it has no problems deducting the AED1 everytime. UPDATE: DTC very promptly fixed the problem. App works great now. Thanks!

1 ★ 1. U spam me with promocodes, yet when I tey to apply them, it says 'expired'. They are not expired btw. U have bug. 2. No option to call before scheduling a ride, only option to email??? Who in the right mind wants to email at the moment when he is in hurry to find a ride??? 3. Your drivers don't read the notes sent during booking. 4. Last ride was much more expensive then what the app predicted (almost twice the price)
