ANT enabled apps can utilize this service to connect:
• Heart Rate: Receive live heart rate data from heart rate straps or wearables produced by many popular manufacturers
• Fitness Equipment: Connect ANT+ enabled fitness equipment and bicycle trainers to popular training and workout apps
• Bike Speed and Cadence: Capture bike speed, distance, and/or cadence data
• Bike Power: Capture data from ANT+ cycling power meters such as Garmin Vector
• Stride-based Speed and Distance Monitor: Capture speed and distance data from running footpods

How did this app get on my phone and is it spyware?
This service is standard software, included by the manufacturer of your phone. It is not illegally downloaded, and it is not spyware. It will not cause system malfunctions or pop-up ads to appear. It is not bloatware and typically uses a max of 20 MB of space. For example, on a 16GB phone, this service takes up 0.0013% of space. We do not pay phone manufacturers to have this service pre-installed.
How can I remove this service?
Since this service is standard software, you’re unable to delete it from your phone. Instead, you can disable this service by following the manufacturer’s instructions. The typical process is: settings>applications>application manager>appropriate app>force stop>disable
Disabling this service will not affect your phone’s software. If, in the future, you require the ability to connect to services and devices via ANT+, just enable the service again.
NOTE: Since this is a factory installed service, it may enable/re-download if you reset and/or update your phone. Don’t panic! Just follow the instructions to disable it again.
Does this service track me without my knowledge?
No. The ANT Radio Service and ANT+ Plugins Service applications provide a wireless connectivity service, similar to Bluetooth or WiFi, but with very low power. These services do not collect any personal data.

1 ★ Don't need it, don't use it, why is it on my phone i didn't download it. I don't use fitness apps now if it was a Fatness app I would be all over it as I am rather xxxxxxL Large.

1 ★ Back door blotwhere, I don't use any any of of the wireless fitness tec. I certainly do not appreciate this auto installation process. Littelty have a list of of app updates that will not be on my phone, doing whatever they want. Samsung store is the worst for this. If the user wants an app we will download it! Don't shove it down our throat, because you feel we need it. This isn't nazi Germany!
1 ★ Yo developers something wrong: update with version 3.8.10 WILL NOT d/L here at Google Play Store. Have tried for 2or3 different days now. (Aug 22-24) Don't use it or want it, but easier just to do update along with my other daily updates. All my other App updates proceed normally. My Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ with TMO is completely up to date on all software, etc. This is aggravating that I have to even notify you.
5 ★ Just because someone does doesn't know what an app is for, they assume it's spyware and it's for government tracking? I never laughed so hard. You have literally at least 100 background apps that to different things. Example, there's an app that allows your screen to turn on and an app to use volume control. This is for the connectivity to fitness devices such as the Galaxy Watch and other things. How do you think things connect? Magic?
1 ★ I agree with Candace Sapp... I don't understand exactly WHAT FOR or WHY the app "needs" the permissions it asks for. U can tell me, and i will show u logs from app usage where it has done nothing of the sort ...but interestingly, so much more. Appreciate the boost of self worthiness of this average guys meaningless existence for u to "secretly spy" on a MF tho. And good luck to all u future little Hitlers.
1 ★ The government or developer is using this app to spy on people. I keep mine disabled and set to not auto update but somehow it still does both. I also always updates at 2-4 am. I dont use fitness wearables so have zero use for this bloatware! The manufacturer is wrong for preinstalling this on any device. If someone wants it let them download it themselves!! I do NOT give you permission to share or sell my information!!
1 ★ In a perfect world I can see the usefulness of this application. However we don't live in a perfect world, and these providers are always using these type of apps to our detriment; frequently severely. And now they want to be able to scan you with the new devices? Nuts!🤔

1 ★ My experience/s from this developer are my private data including biomettics & private images of me in my home. My experience has been full knowledge if unwanted tracking spying surveiling controlling and disabling my own paid for cellular service and internet by unlawful & totally malicious means swapping out different lisences to appear as theynhave full active permission. These ppl this guy is a criminal sharing my private stuff to local law enforcement without anybtype of warrant to surveil.
5 ★ Worked perfectly. I was able to connect my ANT+ heart rate monitor to my tablet and Rouvy was able to connect! I used a cheap Micro USB (Male) to USB 2.0 (Female) Adapter and an old ANT+ usb key that came with my old Garmin Forerunner. With the software installed, no configuration was needed. I just attached the ANT key to the cable which I then plugged into the tablet and Rouvy found the heart rate monitor! Saved me a lot of money as I did not need to buy another heart rate monitor! Thanks to Google! For USB support, this software has to be installed together with ANT USB Service ANT+ ANT Radio Service ANT+ My tablet is a Lennovo running Android 9. This software is for tablets that do not have ANT+ support already builtin.
1 ★ Like everyone else I didn't want it but it came in the back door when I installed M/S Word and can't get rid of it. Other than slow down my tablet, I find it's totally useless and annoying. I guess that's the price we pay for free software.
