Description
Example 1: You are at home where you have a wifi/wlan connection. You turn on wifi/wlan and use your device. When leaving home you loose your connection to your home network, but wifi/wlan is still enabled on your device using battery. Using WIFI Power Saver it will automatically detect that you lost your connection to your home network and disable wifi/wlan on your device, saving battery.
Example 2: You want to check if there are any wifi/wlan networks at your current location. You enable wifi/wlan on your device. If no networks are found WIFI Power Saver will disable wifi/wlan on your device automatically.
Use this application if:
* You want to save battery by not having wifi/wlan enabled when there is no network available
* Want to manually enable wifi/wlan when you want to use it, but not have to remember to turn it off. If you enable notification you can choose to re enable wifi/wlan when you click the notification.
Do NOT use this application if:
* You always want your wifi/wlan enabled searching for networks (uses battery)
* Want your wifi/wlan automatically to connect when networks are available
NOTE: In android 4.1.2 there is a setting under Settings->Wifi->Menu button->Advanced called "Keep Wi-Fi on during sleep". The default value has been changed in android 4.1.2 on some devices. If this is not set to always then Wi-Fi will be disabled when your device goes into sleep mode and switch over to mobile data traffic if available. When this setting is not set to always WIFI Pover saver will not work properly.

1 ★ I have a samsung s3 I'm having problems with my wifi not staying off. When I push the lock/power button it turns the wifi on. Was hoping this would disable wifi. Nothing doing
5 ★ Certain apps have the annoying habit of automatically turning on WiFi whenever they start. Thankfully, WiFi Power Saver comes to the rescue, turning off the WiFi after another app has turned it on. My only recommendation would be that the minimum intervention time be reduced from one minute to ten seconds. Other than that, keep up the good work.

5 ★ Finally i found an app which helps with todays biggest annoyance: my smartphones ever draining battery. This one helps reducing its drain, all other stuff i tried did not give a noticeable effect until i found out wifi is the biggest issue and this app helps managing your battery drain while looking for wifi! Great app, could be improved by automatically attempting to find and connect to wifi every 30 to 60 min or so.
5 ★ I forget to turn off wifi when i leave home frequently which will just drain the battery by atleast 10%. Now with this app taking care of switching off wifi, I have no problem at all.. Some say it should detect wifi when available... which is impossible without having it on!
5 ★ Tiny application that does what it says - it powers off WiFi when you are not in a WiFi area and saves power. My phone was not making it through the day and this app pushes it overnight now. Easy to reset WiFi with the notification icon. Great app!
5 ★ So far so good. The app shuts down my Wi-Fi when I leave my home, leaving me to manually enable it later when I come back. Awesome. Exactly what I was looking for.
2 ★ I'm confused. I've downloaded this app which used to work perfectly on my Galaxy S3 but works only sporadically on the S5. Is there a compatibility issue?
3 ★ what is a big deal 1-5 Minutes timeout. much longer timeout settings are needed such as 1 and 1.5 hours.
4 ★ Other similar apps try to be too smart, but end up making too many annoying mistakes, falling short of their promises. Not this app, which promises a simple functionality and does it well. Thanks to it, the battery life of my phone has been extended by several hours without requiring manual intervention. And enabling WiFi again when getting home is easy to remember, as the first thing I do then is to plug the charger in. As a suggestion, it would be nice if WiFi were powered back on at a programmable interval to scan for specific networks and so automatically connect to a network, like when arriving at home, even if only after several minutes.
5 ★ This app is perfect. Worked great on my Note 4, works great on my Note 7. Total battery saver. I use this and the Bluetooth app set at 20 min. I do have a feature suggestion... I would love to be able to set my home/work location, so the app would turn my Wi-Fi back on when I got close to either.
3 ★ It was nice . I used it for a year but recently start turning off my wifi even if connected to wifi .
3 ★ It cuts off my wifi while I am using it. Why cant it detect that my wifi is in use? Needless to say I'd rather manually turn it off. Uninstalling
5 ★ Works really nice have it set to disconnect my wifi after 1 minute canal leave the house without worring about leaving on my wifi or if I leave a Starbucks or McDonalds
