Download the latest DRIVEtheARC application, version 3.3.1, compatible with Windows 10/11 (using emulators such as Bluestacks), Android devices. This free Auto & Vehicles app is developed by Kanematsu Corporation and is easy to download and install.
Previous versions, including 3.3.1, are also available. If you need help or have any problems, please let us know.
Description
You can easily find your best charging stations, using its various features described below:
Features:
- Check DRIVEtheARC & EVgo stations' locations.
- Check DRIVEtheARC & EVgo chargers' real-time availability.
- View the past charging sessions of each DRIVEtheARC charger to check reliability.
- View the stats of DRIVEtheARC stations' occupancy level (the last 7 days & average of the last 2 months) to check congestion trend.
- View discount schedule & expected wait time of DRIVEtheARC stations to select your best locations/time, and get a Check-in Ticket (*).
- View the comparison guide of better charging stations and select a charging station. (Comparison guide view will be displayed in case that DRIVEtheARC app finds better stations than your original selection.)
- Make your 35-minute timeslot reservation of DRIVEtheARC "By Reservation Only" chargers. (Reservation service is limited at selected DRIVEtheARC chargers only.)
- Check your EV's electric range based on State of Charge (SOC) value input by keypad or voice.
- Input a destination to find recommended charging stations.
- Tap "Navigate to the Station" button to start your EV trip using the Google Maps app.
- Tap "Charge" & "Start" buttons to start charging. (EVgo account is required to use this feature.)
- Take a quick survey and get a one-time special 100% discount Check-in Ticket (*) to use at any DRIVEtheARC station later. (A special 100% discount Check-in Ticket will be expired in 2 weeks after its date of issue.)
(*) Check-in Ticket with discount offer is available during the designated campaign period only.

1 ★ The unusability of the app is surpassed only by the consistently unusable charging stations. This shouldn't be rocket science.
3 ★ Very unlikely the average user would be able to get in and link their EVGO. If you forget your user ID theres no apparent way to look it up...Strangely, it's possible to reset password despite not knowing user ID. So, u could have your brand new password but still not know user id and get locked out. App needs a "remind user id" button. Also, linking evgo requires you to pull up EVGO password. No one would ever remember that so you have to put it on hold and go look that up. Eek.
5 ★ If you're an EV owner or just renting one for the day this is THEE app you'll want to be sure you have when taking your EV on the road. FREE FAST CHARGING & when It's closer to peak hours you still get a discount rate! Why wouldn't you download this app? It's extremely easy to navigate through & another great feature is informing you if there's a station that's closer to you than their DtA station. It will inform you of a cheaper EVgo station if there is no free or discount tickets avail on DtA
1 ★ This app is begging for me to rate it every time I use it, so here I'm: free charging is pretty cool idea, but this app is so poorly done and full of bugs. Chargers takes forever to load, evgo communications is broken (it is still billing you for "free" charging!), etc.
5 ★ While the process to get the charge started is a little cumbersome, I absolutely love the discount I can get on charging. For that reason alone, this is a five star app.

3 ★ I want to "like" the app but it's simply non-functional. I have yet to be able to get the 'tickets' to work for my charging. I'm paying full price, every time, whether I have a 100% off ticket or not. Thankfully, the app support team seems to be doing an ok job reimbursing most of these ... that can't get the app to work but they'll reimburse you ... some ... 🤷
4 ★ pretty good. I have used 4 drive the arc stations but at some stations I have had to call EVgo for help to start. In one case the power went out at Walmart and the charger stopped. I could not get the charger to work again because I could not get the original promo ticket to cancel so I could not restart the charging. EVgo was very helpful getting it restarted.
5 ★ Works intuitively and saves you money Rather new to the application, but quick signup and used on day 2 for 45min of free charging, it can't be beat.
1 ★ Tried to get my model in so I can sign up and it only has one ev car for the make and up to 2019. Really?
2 ★ There is no error message to alert the user that the cell phone camera does not work or a permission does not allow the app to use the camera to read the QR code. There is no message or prompt to tell the user that to be able to take the picture of the QR code you have to press the green dot to activate the camera.
4 ★ Not that intuitive. Takes a little time to get used to
1 ★ Worst app experience ever, convoluted and rage-inducing. And in the end would not start either. Waste of time, energy, and sanity.
1 ★ I can't get the app to work for me. The charge activation is greyed out and won't let me scan the qr code on the charging station. Great for those who can get this working. It just doesn't work for me.
