Description
EV Plug In shows the real-time availability and location of all our chargers across Britain. It allows you to swipe to charge, to register and pay, to track your usage, and to manage your account. It also provides information about connector type and power ratings for each charger, the ability to filter by site type (public or taxi only), and includes a handy directions feature to help get you there. It’s EV charging made easy.

2 ★ It's ok but the app is missing the most important information, the percentage of charge your vehicle is at. You plug your vehicle in, go shopping or for something to eat and you can not look on the app to see the charge percentage your vehicle is at. You can only view that at the machine. Also on my Samsung S10 phone half the time duration is hidden. The app should show you the percentage your vehicle is at and the cost of what you have used up till then.
1 ★ This is probably the worst charging app out there. It starts with the name being unintuive, followed by a complicated registration process. It takes a while to figure out how to start a charge, and then the app keeps throwing error messages. PS: It took me another 15 minutes to start a charge, and that is after spending 15 minutes to set up my account in the first place. Seriously, the worst EV charging app I have encountered so far.
1 ★ i am having a very very very bad experience. BIG hassle! first they asked me for £10 and now i am stuck on lower richmond road downloading an app! get contactless sorted! Ridiculous app! I had to type in my details twice because the agree to terms and conditions button is hidden by the keyboard. You people don't even know what you are doing to people! Optimise your app.
1 ★ EDIT: It looks like ESB is on Plugsurfing, so I may try using that app instead. Went through the registration process for a PAYG account. Asks for username/password, name, address etc. After filling that all in, it then REQUIRES you to top up a minimum of £10 to finish the account creation.
4 ★ Should stick a QR to download the app. I was in the Lower Richmond charger and took me a while to get it. After that; easy to install, detected automatically the location and charging point and once that's set you just need to follow the screen instructions.
4 ★ One of the better ev apps, definitely one of the better networks. Fair price and most points have worked no hassle. Also, accept debit card at most points now. Too many taxi only chargers.
1 ★ Absolutely useless - beyond useless, no free charging stations available in the whole of Ireland according to this app, No matter what settings you choose. Waste of time.
1 ★ Attempted to charge 4 times. Took £20 pound from my account and still didn't charge. Now must wait over a week for the money to return.
1 ★ registration is a nightmare 24 hours on and im no closer to completion. support answers the phone but tells me to call during working hours. why answer?
3 ★ works 50% of the time. i have to call otherwise. accept terms and conditions box is hidden so you miss it and then have to type your details in again
2 ★ Keep getting error messages saying Unable to connect to server, irritating message the app works OK just keep trying
2 ★ After downloading and getting half way through registration, seems it is only for taxis! Uninstalled.
1 ★ Unable to login (possibly it's the wrong ESB app, difficult to tell)
4 ★ would like to see onscreen charging status to know how much energy was gained but otherwise easy to use
1 ★ Doesn't work on Samsung note. Fails to load.
