Description
Brainwave Entrainment is the practice of using sounds, visual stimuli or even electromagnetic fields to alter the frequency of brainwaves.
It can be done for several reasons: people with insomnia can take great benefit from it, but it can also be used to improve your attention span, and even simulate the effects of some recreational drugs.
The effect is not permanent, and fades away in less than a minute after the stimuli is removed.
Isochronic tones are a commonly used aural stimuli for Brainwave Entrainment, consisting of short pulses of a sine wave, varying in frequency.
Unlike binaural beats, Isochronic Tones can be played on speakers.
This app comes with lots of free presets.

5 ★ I use this app to help with chronic pain and sleep difficulties. The "God Sleep" preset, weather you believe in her or not, really helps. I wish the "Chronic Pain" preset had a timer though.
1 ★ No frequency is stated, just a title. You can't know the frequenxy you are listening to!
5 ★ Sine Isochronic Entrainer seems to be a powerful app for rehabilitating entrenched neurological brainwave patterns. It is also good for for exploring the impact that various brainwave frequency patterns may have on energy, quality of life and state of mind. Isochronic tones are monaural so that the phone can be connected to a hi-fi speaker system to play at a more optimal volume in the environment without headphones. Some of these files also have low frequency content which needs to be felt in the physical surroundings to gain the full effect (which is impossible with headphones or through a tiny cell phone speaker).
5 ★ Effective. Not intrusive. Used it for focus. Really basic but I don't want anything more. Why reinvent the wheel?
