1 ★ what have you done! as soon as the screen turns off the noise stops, how am I meant to hear my child crying now? it consistantly crashes, it's a pain to connect, it's slow! I use to be able to turn the LED lights off as they flash so brightly but I've had to cover them. how do we get our money back! so they update the app to enable background noise, awesome. less than a week later the app is useless, doesn't even connect even after reset everything. time for a new trustworthy baby monitor

1 ★ The app is now useless and therefore now the camera is. There were many issues before this recent app redesign but we have an old tablet running the old version if the app and we can just use it for short periods. We are now looking at a replacement camera as we have another baby coming next month. As this one wont be lasting 2 years the replacement won't be a D-Link Model.

1 ★ Giving it one star, since less doesn't seem to be possible. This isn't necessarily for the app, since we are unable to connect via multiple devices, both Apple and Android. Software allows no flexibility during process, and is far from intuitive. Several hours of wasted time and frustration. Product is discontinued on manufacturer website, so no joy there either. Recommendation: buy anything but Dlink.

1 ★ was ok for past 3 yrs. it now disconnects itself after 5 min, making useless. pls re-release the old version. by the way, it is not because of the phone. i'm now with Mate pro 20, also using an old android tablet, the app disconnects on both devices. DO NOT UPDATE if u are fine with old version.

1 ★ have been using this camera fir the last 12 months. now with the latest app update the camera is not found on the network and the app requests to setup the camera again as new which im not doing in fear it will prevent the only device that has the old version of the app on it from connecting. the camera pathetic attempt at product life cycle management. who in there right mind makes such substancial and untested changes before declaring end of life for a product? rollback the latest app update

1 ★ You kidding me with this app? Previous one worked perfect, the updated one is useless...keeps on reconnecting after struggling to connect it. This is not the type of app I need to keep watch over my little one. And after all the negative feedback on this app and its still not updated?? Question, what are you doing to fix this??

1 ★ Disconnects a lot after the update. Have to manually reconnect which is painful. This wasn't an issue before. I also hear a static background noise all the time? DCS 825L still looses connection (after another update) everytime screen turns off Galaxy S7 which should fix this. Please revert to old version or give us our money back.:(

1 ★ this was very bad update after this new update , camera is not working and connecting to software whenever i try to connect , it ask for wifi passward in setup while wifi is open network and no option of proceed without open passward so it ruined my cam. and i m not going to buy its new model. video recording feature was also disabled pls. revert back to enable the video recording feature. and thanks .

2 ★ This camera was quite good when first released but the app was always it's downfall. The app was poor to begin with and hasn't improved with time. The updates rarely happen, there's no new features to speak of in the app and it seems like simply supporting the product after release is an afterthought.

1 ★ Previous version had its problems, but was ok. Since app update though, it's rendered the camera useless. Never finds it on the network. Tried factory resets and reinstalling the app, no change. Sideload older version, back to reasonable operational status. What the hell were you thinking forcing this update on people? Stop updating the older app, fine, but release the new one under a new name so people have a choice to try the new app, or can stick with what they know and in my case what works.

1 ★ This app worked for a day when I first got the camera and was great. Now it crashes all the time and want find camera! Have even tried different phones to see if ig would work with no success. Very frustrating when you want to see what your little one is doing. Wouldn't recommend this to anyone, our Motorola cam is much better!!!

1 ★ Awful and unhelpful update that removed continuous background audio stream from the app which worked previously. I don't understand the consumer insight for this! You would think that the whole idea behind a baby monitor is to have continuous background audio that gives the parent audio cues on what is happening in the baby room right?

1 ★ Audio cuts out when phone screen is shutoff or while switching apps since the last "update". Now this app and the monitor are useless. I am better off buying a stand alone baby monitor if the audio is going to shut off everytime my phone screen shuts off or I switch apps. This app and the dlink camera are useless if you cant listen to the audio and use other apps or turn off the screen at the same time!

1 ★ I have a dcs 850l Worked ok for a while. Now drops out often, wont reconnect, reinstall app and still wont connect. This is going in the bin. Dont recommend at all.

1 ★ Horrible application. Does not work. Looks terrible. Bad support. Bad hardware.
