DJI Pilot helps our users realize a variety of aircraft operation scenarios, such as aerial mapping, surveying, and more. In addition to a wide range of in-the-field applications, Pilot gives our aircraft superior functionality, including smooth real-time image transmission, easy maneuvering, and convenient camera use and playback control. Planning flight missions is now faster, simpler, and more comprehensive than ever, with functions such as adding waypoints, setting waypoint tasks, and planning 3D reconstruction and oblique photography tasks. Whether you are performing powerline inspections, ensuring public safety, or surveying your next construction site, DJI Pilot is the right choice for getting the job done well and on time.

App permissions
DJI Pilot v2.5.1.17 APK requires following permissions:

Allows applications to discover and pair bluetooth devices.

Allows using PowerManager WakeLocks to keep processor from sleeping or screen from dimming.

This constant was deprecated in API level 21. No longer enforced.

5 ★ There is little else to compare it to. The DJI apps have few or no bugs. Presentation is also good.
1 ★ Trash program that doesnt even save your password requiring you to re-enter it every few times you log in.
1 ★ This is not working. I can not link my drone to this app. I cant link. Link failed over and over. Im going to bring this back to best buy and lose 15% of the price i paid and i cant even use it. The fact it says on the box that its android compatible is false advertisement. It will not link with this app. DJI Fly app. Not this one here the one that im reading says it works. Well it doesnt. I was tricked by this company to make money and waste peoples time.
5 ★ Great Tool for digital tool box Thank you keep up the great work testing app September 2020 supposedly smart battery unsafe for hot days flight. fire hazard app has overheating notice no response battery pack will catch fire if drone dropped out of air battery so swollen cannot fit in drone 1 test after update it's called California heat stress testing failed again was a good battery until problem no vent and no cooling makes battery bag swell in drone .other problems
4 ★ Overall, it's a good app that works well. That said, there are parts that are unusable. The fonts to display speed, altitude, etc. are TINY and white, with no way to change them. They basically disappear into the background. A lot of folks complain about this, but DJI does nothing to correct it. We really need options to increase font size, change the color, or allow them to be displayed on a solid black background, not the image background. This is my only real complaint about an other excellent app.
1 ★ I want to know why this drone app will not connect to my Mavic mini? says disconnected. why is this app on Google play store? I wouldn't even give this one star. if I don't get response, I'm flagging EVERY app for this drone that does not connect
1 ★ I upgraded to Android 11 and now this app no longer will load. I don't get a crash notification, it just shows the splash screen and then disappears.
2 ★ Having issues with app since upgrading my phone to Samsung Galaxy S20 app does not want to open. Have installed, unistalled and reinstalled and issue still persists... For the price of the drone you would think that DJI would keep up to date with software updates on their Enterprise drones. Also only DJI app that I can fly my Enterprise Dual with and at stage I am struggling to get the app to run reliably...Not happy at all...
1 ★ Is that so difficult to put the features on pair with the GS RTK app if we use a Phantom 4 RTK? I use the SDK radio and its a pain to work without some features, such as crossed grid missions.
4 ★ Been trying to find something for the mavic air that will do way points and also allow me to enter gps coordinates for the craft to go to. On a whim figured I'd give this a shot and was really surprised it worked. Only issue i have is entering a negative longitude coordinate. Can't seem to do it. Im using Pixel XL2 with it.
1 ★ Does work on my android table, but works on my phone. This app is a very poor Litchi copy. It quit working in the middle of a mission! I had to use the RTH button to get back control of my drone. DJI is a good company too bad their software engineers are so far behind other software apps. Until they really put their expertise behind this app... I cannot recommend it to anyone.
1 ★ I don't understand why the DJI 4.0 app has more features/functionality then this newly released DJI pilot app. Ex: custom stick mode, flight modes, digital zoom, auto take off, just to name a few. I was thinking the enterprise series would do everything the mavic pro could do plus the added features, instead it's a trade off.. me no likey Mavic 2 enterprise dual (current drone)
1 ★ Apps absolutely trash been working with it for 2 hours just trying too get the connection!!not happy at all .sending drone back .I don't recommend this app
2 ★ Cannot get past requires resource file. Update: As mentioned elsewhere, long pressing the app icon enables you to set app permissions. Enable local storage access and the app will run. DJI needs to sort this out as part of the app running process, it asks again for access when running.
5 ★ I also ran into the problem with the resource files not downloading but managed to figure it out... You need to long press the app icon, then go to the app permissions and enable access to your device storage. Then just run the app again and proceed with the setup
